Make for a delicious snack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free for the purpose of my review. All opinions are my own. Nestle's milk chocolate morsels are my absolute favorite. I have tried lots of other brands, and I keep coming back to these. They are rich and smooth. They are so great when added to a trail mix, melted down for dipping, and of course perfect in any type of cookie.

Yummy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that the chocolate chips are offered in several different flavors, including milk chocolate, which is what I used in my latest batch of cookies. They were perfect for baking, and sweet enough that they added a certain richness to the cookie. Very meltable and tasty, I will be purchasing these again. I think next, I'm going to try them melted and spread on top of rice, crispy treats. I received a free sample in exchange for my honest review. #freesample

So smooth and rich

I received these milk chocolate chips in exchange for my honest review. These chips are so smooth and delicious, rich in flavor if you're looking to up a dessert with richness. I typically purchase semi sweet chip for chocolate chip cookies but these are a great alternative. #ad #freesample

I am done with you

Made chocolate chip cookies with my daughter tonight. Same recipe I have used for 35 years. HORRIBLE!!!!!! I will switch to more expensive chocolate. Why don't you tell consumers what you have done? I know cacao is in danger and you probably are trying other formulas. At least tell us. Very disappointed.

Makes the BEST chocolate chip cookies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let's be honest... There isn't a better chocolate chip for making chocolate chip cookies. I follow the recipe on the bag and my family asks for them over and over again. They come out perfect and are delicious. Nestle makes the best chocolate chips. We love them in muffins and brownies too... smooth creamy chocolate. Mmmm!

Nestle Toll House Milk Chocolate Morsels are THE BEST!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #Ad. #Freesample. My family loved baking with the Milk Chocolate Morsels! We made a Milk Chocolate Pound Cake. The package I received was more than enough to bake our cake, with plenty extra for snacking!

bad recipe

I followed the chocolate chip oatmeal cookie recipe on the back of milk chocolate chips. They were flat and did not turn out well at all. They were delicious though. I looked online at verybestbaking and the recipe wasn't even close. The bag I had called for 1 1/4 C flour and 1 egg but the online recipe was 1 3/4 C flour with 2 eggs. HUGE difference in the outcome.

We're sorry to hear that the cookies came out flat. The recipe on the bag is exactly the same as the one here on our site. It's possible that the wrong recipe came up. Expect an email from us shortly with some help to find the correct recipe.,Toll House® Brand Ambassador,Laurie, clientresponse

Great Tasting Milk Chocolate Morsels!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #ad #freesample I received a free bag of NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Milk Chocolate Morsels 23 oz. to review and report. The milk chocolate morsels (chips) were creamy and not-too-sweet to eat. I baked a Milk Chocolate Chip Chocolate Pound Cake for my family to taste test the product. My family loved the recipe and loved snacking on the milk chocolate morsels by themselves. Everyone gave them a big rave of support. The 23 oz. bag is just the right size to make whatever recipe you need. You don't have to worry about running out of chocolate chips in the middle of baking or cooking your recipe. I had more than enough to get the job done.

Good tasting Milk Chocolate

This is the first time I have tried Milk Chocolate Morsels (as opposed to semi-sweet). Eating them straight out of the bag, I found that they tasted like a decent chocolate candy -- not great, but not bad either. Next I tried them in a chocolate chip cookie. They were good, chocolately and smooth, but I prefer the deeper, richer taste of the semi-sweet chips. My final experiment was making hot chocolate with the chips. I warmed a cup of milk in the microwave, then dumped in approx. 3 tablespoons of milk choclate morsels and stirred until they melted. They melted quickly and completely. The taste was much better than the powdered mixes. This is the best hot chocolate I have ever made! I may buy them in the future just to make hot chocolate.

Melting issues

I bought generic chips, melted them fine but wasn't thrilled with the taste so back to my reliable nestle milk chocolate morsels...but each time I've tried to melt them (microwave, double boiler) I've ended up with a gross chunk of gritty wasted chocolate. Seriously, I've followed the recipe on the back, what am I doing wrong???

Thanks for leaving a review. Our Nestlè Toll House Morsels are heat sensitive and have a low melting point. At higher temperatures, the sugar also melts and scorches, which can cause the morsels to seize, or become grainy and hard to work with. Small amounts of moisture can also cause the morsels to seize; for example, moisture from a wooden spoon or steam from a double boiler. We'll let our team know this has been happening to you. Please expect an email from us soon.,Consumer Engagement Center,Jennifer, clientresponse
