The toner cartridge appears to work well but it is very expensive. A set of cartridges for my quality laser printer cost more than I paid for the printer.

Sad to see that HP prevents other lower cost suppliers from providing Toner. The chips are a monopoly on HPs part. Last HP printer I will purchase in the future!!!

Cartridges are great easy to install. My issue is with the SIM card that you have to replace from the original cartridge and install on the new one. The process is complicated and the new cartridge should come with the card. Now I won't know when my printer is low on ink and that is disappointing

HP's restrictions takes the enjoyment out of buying their products. The forward restrictions in place by HP prevent consumers from buying other brands. It's an obvious play that tarnishes a brand that has been such a big part of home computers. This oft griped about fact will influence my brand choices down the road unfortunately. The cartridge works as it should but I also don't have a choice.

HP printers are pretty good. Basically satisfied with the print quality. However, the business model of selling hardware for lower cost and then selling toner for high prices is disingenuous at best. My first HP printer in grad school (c. 1996) was an absolute work horse, with toner cartridges that lasted for thousands of pages. The printer chugged along for nearly 20 years - efficient and reasonably priced. I only stopped using it because driver support was discontinued. There have been NO printers matching this superior level since. Gouging customers through toner purchases so frequently doesn't endear HP to its customers.

Great toner and comparable in price to any other seller. I like the quick ship.
