its a great machine but when we took it out of the box it had two cracks in it.

Great piece of machinery !! Easy to assemble and a great bargain for the price !@

Assembly took my husband and I around two hours, but we were taking our time. We thought the instructions were clear and the hardware was adequately labeled. Once assembled and plugged in, I pressed and held the iFit button for about 20 seconds, and the machine unlocked and is fully functional. No activation required. I'm glad other reviewers mentioned that! Resistance can be set at the push of a button and the display cycles through all the typical info you want when working out - speed, distance, time, calories burned, etc. We can't get our iphones to hook up through bluetooth, but I suspect that's because we didn't go through the iFit activation. It's not a deal breaker - we'll get an aux cable or use an external speaker. The machine is extremely quiet, unlike our old Nordic Track elliptical. It's also very smooth, and the manual incline adjustment is easy to operate. It seems well built and sturdy, like other Nordic Track products we've owned. Hopefully it lasts just as long as they did!

This elliptical seems nice, but is stuck on the highest resistance. I tried to use an iFIT program to see if that would change things, but it is still stuck on the hardest setting. We can't seem to figure out how to adjust it, so it will be getting returned.

It was a great piece of equipment until the pedal arm weld snapped. Trying to obtain support and replacement parts has been a horrible process.

So far so good with this machine. Only thing I was disappointed about was the need to sign up for iFit to see any basic info about my workout. Can't even see the time elapsed without having a subscription to iFit. Very disappointing and deceptive. Hard to believe I would have to pay $15 a month to use my $700 machine...
