I have been meaning to register this comment for a while. My family had been using Charmin Ultra Soft for a very long time. I wouldn't buy anything else. But since you made the stupid mistake to reduce the width I have not bought any Charmin brand. I don't really care what internal rationalization you made up to reduce the quality, because it doesn't mattter. What matters is that you reduced the quality, period. If I wanted cheap, narrow toilet paper I would have switched to a cheap store brand long ago. But I liked (note past tense) Charmin because is was (again, past tense) a quality brand. But sadly, not any longer.

It is an easier way to order all my papergoods. With large quanities it is hard to handle with just a shopping cart so I order all my papergoods thru the internet. The delivery is always on time and it is so handy. I only have to put food and smaller items in my basket. My family goes thru alot of items since I have a family care home for my elderly family members. I will order most of the larger items online as they are needed.

A regular roll will last me 3 to 4 days. This roll lasted about a week. If it is 4 rolls in one, I should have gotten close to two weeks out of one roll. I haven't been sick and I live alone. It lasts longer, yes. Four rolls in one, definitely not.

My son got the cheapest toilet paper he can find. He goes through no less than 2 , 4 roll packages a WEEK. So I gave him 1 roll of my Charmin, and told him to use 1/2 the squares he normally uses. Now he only buys Charmin Ultra Soft double rolls, 12 rolls, because he only has to buy Charmin about every 5 weeks. That is a household of 3 females & 2 males. I only need to buy ky Charmin about every 8 weeks. Now this is a true "bang for your buck"

I have noticed in the last few years that the width of your rolls has significantly changed. I understand that you are passing on the cost by not raising prices but the rolls look stupid on my toilet paper holders. I love your product and have used Charmin for many years. I have never found another toilet paper that I like better. Would you please contemplate making the wider rolls again. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would be willing to pay premium dollars for the better, full size rolls of Charmin.

To whom it may concern Quality, what a shame, we as consumers, expect to pay more for the same item as time goes by. Everything goes up, but when the quality goes down and the price goes up, then that's another story. Cutting back on the width of your product is just like cutting back on the quality. There is no difference! I have only used charmin in my house forever. I never liked any other brands. I really thought Mr. Whipple was my friend! What a shame! Bye to an old friend, Frank

I love the change in the new scalloped design to tear the sheets...... much easier to tear and makes a nice addition to the bathroom decor. This id the sole reason I took the time to write this review... congratulations to the person who came up with this idea !

I would recommend Charmin over other brands. But I'm unhappy with your decision to narrow the roll width. I could understand this if rear ends had become smaller. But look around; they haven't. Over time, I've seen newspapers get narrower, candy bars and cans of food/coffee get smaller, and now this. Please consider reversing your decision and go back to the old size. Thank you.

I used to use your Charmin Ultra Strong, but now that the Mega rolls are out, the quality of the actual sheets are lower and the size of the sheets are narrower. If this is how the product will be manufactured and sold from now on, I will switch to another brand.

We have been using Charmin Ultra Soft for 10+ years. We even put up with their narrower, shorter rolls, and their repackaging to hide the cost increases, but now their alleged two-ply is as thin as a normal one ply and it's super linty and irritating. I can document the changes listed above because we have 2 older packs of "emergency" Charmin Ultra Soft that we brought in from the garage and we compared them to the ones we recently bought. The old packs had 12 rolls, the new packs had 9 rolls. The sizes and thicknesses were completely different. The newer edition is a totally cheap imitation of the original Charmin and it's now also irritating as well. In fact, it's so irritating that we can never by it again. The Costco TP wasn't as fancy, but at least it has never caused any pain and irritation to anyone in our house.
