[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Pine sol and grew up cleaning with this product but I don't care for the new original scent the old one was the best. Original is original. The new one will choke you up I don't know what it is but I am afraid to use it

I bought it and didn't even look at the label of the longer lasting new scent and when I opened it I knew right away something wasn't right. I really mainly bought it because my mother used it and loved the smell it gave the home. You could open your door after being gone all day and the fresh old-fashioned smell would hit you. I REALLY MISS THIS! I feel like with all the other scents you have, could you not leave the Original Pine Scent alone. If we want something different then the options are there. Please bring back the Original scent. I don't want to have to change to a new brand. I feel like I have lost a dear friend.

our families have used the old "original" pine-sol for 50 years that I know of. Used it for everything and used a lot. It was wonderful stuff. the new stuff, they label "original" causes bad allergy and asthma attacks for those in my family. Besides it does not have the same pleasant smell. I do not know what we will replace Pine-Sol with, but cannot use the new stuff. Hopefully they will start marketing the real original again.

I love pinesol! It has the best cleaning power and most wonderful smell!! I have used it for years, and will continue to do so for many more. I have recommended it to lots of my friends. In fact, when they come over, they always note the wonderful pinesol scent. The original scent is my favorite :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to see what the hype I was hearing all about. I opened a bottle of Pine Sol up and went to work on my stove. With a little elbow work, my stove top looked like brand new. I couldn't believe it . The smell lasted for hours afterwards, leaving the aroma of fresh scent.

I can't believe that you changed the most distinctive part of your product (its formulation and scent) and have the audacity to call it "Original". There is nothing original about your new product. I just bought a bottle of the new "Original" Pine-Sol, and can't believe how you have ruined such a great product. I'll be dumping out the rest of the bottle, and will be swapping to another brand. You've lost a customer of 50 years in 5 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been addicted to pinesol since a little girl my mom cleaned with it because I get migraines from bleach and that's what she grew up using until I was born lol I use it every day for the smell I am addicted to it and love how clean it makes everything in my home I even use it to disinfect the kids toys and bedrooms and for all the germs they spread I have tried off brands 2 times and will never ever do that again nothing compares to the cleaning power or smell!!!! I do wish you would come out with wax for candle burners or plug ins please give it a thought it would be a huge success and make you lots of money

I AM SAD TO SAY THAT IF I CANT GET THE OLD SCENT OF PINESOL BACK THAT 40+ YEARS OF MY USING PINESOL WILL BE ENDING. IT SMELLS LIKE THE DOLLAR TREE PINE CLEANER, JUST AWFULL! I USED TO ENJOY CLEANING DAY AND THIS WEEKEND ABSOLUTELY MADE ME UPSET. EVEN THE KIDS SAID MOM WHAT IS THAT AWFULL SMELL. THE OLD SCENT JUST MADE EVERYTHING SEEM FRESH AND CLEAN. PLEASE O PLEASE SAY YOULL BE BRINGING THE OLD SCENT BACK! MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE TALKING ABOUT IT, FACEBOOK TALKING ABOUT IT. I DID A GOOGLE SEARCH TO SEE IF I WAS IMAGINING THE DIFFERENT SCENT AND I RAN INTO SO MANY BLOGS PLEADING FOR THE OLD SCENT AND PEOPLE SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO FIND A NEW CLEANER. WHAT HAPPENED?? I have been a life long Pine-Sol customer...until now. I use Pine-Sol not only for it's cleaning & disinfecting qualities but for the ORIGINAL smell. This new "longer lasting sent" is awful. I don't like the smell, when we clean with it, the house does not smell crisp & clean. I like to add Pine-Sol to my towels, rags, sheets & dish cloths to ensure they are clean. The basement normally smells of Pine, but the scent leaves my items & they just smell fresh. This morning I was folding towels & about fell over from the "new scent". PLEASE bring back the original Pine-Sol. I would hate to have to find another cleaner.

I have been a loyal user of Pine Sol for several years. Little did I realize the scent changed until I purchased a new bottle recently. The new scent is quite pungent and not a smell I would characterize as "clean." I have tried several times to give it a chance but the new scent is too much. Disappointed.
