Please bring back my original! This new mproved mess smells just like the generic pine cleaners that are sold everywhere for $1 a bottle. They neither clean, nor do they smell good. The original Pine-Sol was so awesome, it would literally change my mood from bad to good!!!!! I guess you could say I am addicted to the original smell! Wish I could find a perfume/body spray that smells as good! LOL

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to see what the hype I was hearing all about. I opened a bottle of Pine Sol up and went to work on my stove. With a little elbow work, my stove top looked like brand new. I couldn't believe it . The smell lasted for hours afterwards, leaving the aroma of fresh scent.

I have asthma & am highly allergic to perfumes, and chemicals in general. I bought original Pine Sol because I am not allergic to the pine scent I remember from childhood. It was a huge disappointment. The perfume smell (NOT pine oil) gave me a migraine AND an asthma attack. I had to pour the rest down the drain. This is definitely not the original Pine Sol advertised.

My mom used pine-sol original scent to clean everything in the house and I loved the smell. The new "original scent" they have out now is nauseating and gives me a headache. When I first used it I thought I bought the wrong kind. I guess I will have to find a new household cleaner that doesn't make me sick to my stomach.

As other reviewers have said, this new "longer lasting" scent is terrible. Who wants a scent to last long if it's unpleasant? We have used Pine-Sol at my job for years and it always smelled nice when I came into work. Recently, with the newest batch of Pine-Sol purchased, everyone in the office has been asking what the headache-provoking smell is. I never for a second thought it could be Pine-Sol. After reading "new longer lasting scent" on a bottle of Pine-Sol in the store and then reading the latest reviews here, I know it's Pine-Sol. We will no longer be using Pine-Sol in our office-- at least not until Clorox-- love so many of their other products, BTW-- returns the original scent.

this NEW longer lasting scent STINKS! It does't smell good at all so I am unable to use it, it actualy gives me a headache. I used the original PineSol all the time, for EVERYTHING! now none of the stores in the area I live sell it. I have found some online but shipping prices do not make it as affordable. I am sorry to say if you do not bring back original scent...you just lost yourself a customer :(

I have used the original PINE SOL for 30 years (?), at least as long as I can remember....I bought two large bottles of pine sol, when I used it today......as soon as I poured it into my water to mop, it had such an odor.....then on the bottle, I read 'new long lasting scent'. It bothered my allergies from the start....but I wanted to give it a try, so I tried mopping my floors with this, and the stink was so bad that I had to re-mop to get rid of it, which I could not get the odor off of my floor! It still stinks! PLEASE bring back the original pine-sol. I will never buy the new scent!

The new scent in the original makes it not the orginal. Tho my complaint will probably make no difference; If it is not 'pine-oil' it is not pine-sol. I have used this product for at least 50 years and am unhappy that I am going to have to find something else. You have put an artificial scent that is over powering and doesn't smell clean, in my opinion. and no, it doesn't smell like pine. it smells like perfume. I have asthma and for the first time your product has caused breathing problems in my household.

What have you done. Where is my 'Original' Pine Sol. I was a huge fan of the original. The scent was clean and fresh. It actually put a smile on my face when I smelled it. My husband and sons use to open the bottle and put it in front of a fan so I would think they had cleaned. I would walk and and say Ahhhhhh! Quite brilliant of them! This morning I opened a new bottle and was really upset. What did you do? Why change the scent. It is no longer the "Original". If I wanted chemical pine tree scent I would have purchased fake air freshener.You could have added another line. This is a bad day in my house. Wait until my family finds out what you have done. They will know I have gone into mourning. BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL.

I have used Pinesol as long as I have had my own home. The change in the scent of the original has made me change brands of cleaners I use. The scent smells terrible and makes my house smell the terrible too... In this consumers opinion, you ruined pinesol.
