Why you changed the scent I will never understand. You took the perfect clean house smell and replaced it with a horrible fake tree. I have been a loyal customer as my mother was before me, I'm sorry to say that I'm now on the hunt for a new product to clean my house with. I highly encourage you to bring back the original scent we all know and love!

I have been using pinesol for as long as I can remember and it's great! The scent doesn't last nearly as long as it used to but it still makes me happy. It's so commonly used in my household my child thinks that what's a home is supposed to smell like. I love that it has many uses and can be diluted to your own needed strength!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is nothing like the original Pine Sol. I love mopping my floors with it, because it cleans well and I love how clean my floors get. I enjoy this product because it has a nice clean smell and not flowery or overly perfumed.

While growing up, my mother shared hallway cleaning in the tenement where we lived. Everyone commented that they always knew when Mrs. F. did the halls because they loved the original Pinesol fragrance. Presently I have become disappointed because the price went up...the volume went down (8 ounces)...and the "New Longer Lasting Scent" is too strong & unlike the original "pine" odor has lost its distinctive fragrance.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This disinfecting cleaner is amazing. I mopped my kitchen floors and they were left clean and smelling great! I also mopped my bathroom floor and because it kills 99.9 of germs I know it was clean enough for my kids. I love the fresh pine smell. It is not overpowering but leaves that fresh “I did my floor smell”! Very easy instructions on diluting it and adding it to your daily cleaning. On the back it shows that adding some to your laundry kills germs also! This was something new and I have never thought to do this, so now I add it to my laundry and know the clothes are super clean! Thank you Pinesol for such a great cleaner!

After decades + of using Pine-Sol original I am completely dissatisfied with the new scent if I wanted this scent I would buy the other cheaper brand I bought the other brand just to compare scents and they're is no difference. Soooooo Bummmed! Anita P Calif

The new scent in the original makes it not the orginal. Tho my complaint will probably make no difference; If it is not 'pine-oil' it is not pine-sol. I have used this product for at least 50 years and am unhappy that I am going to have to find something else. You have put an artificial scent that is over powering and doesn't smell clean, in my opinion. and no, it doesn't smell like pine. it smells like perfume. I have asthma and for the first time your product has caused breathing problems in my household.

I AM SAD TO SAY THAT IF I CANT GET THE OLD SCENT OF PINESOL BACK THAT 40+ YEARS OF MY USING PINESOL WILL BE ENDING. IT SMELLS LIKE THE DOLLAR TREE PINE CLEANER, JUST AWFULL! I USED TO ENJOY CLEANING DAY AND THIS WEEKEND ABSOLUTELY MADE ME UPSET. EVEN THE KIDS SAID MOM WHAT IS THAT AWFULL SMELL. THE OLD SCENT JUST MADE EVERYTHING SEEM FRESH AND CLEAN. PLEASE O PLEASE SAY YOULL BE BRINGING THE OLD SCENT BACK! MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE TALKING ABOUT IT, FACEBOOK TALKING ABOUT IT. I DID A GOOGLE SEARCH TO SEE IF I WAS IMAGINING THE DIFFERENT SCENT AND I RAN INTO SO MANY BLOGS PLEADING FOR THE OLD SCENT AND PEOPLE SAYING THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO FIND A NEW CLEANER. I thought I was buying my normal pine-sol that I've bought for over 35 years. I got it home, opened the bottle and it wasn't even close to my (or your) original scent. I gave the bottle to a friend because I couldn't stand the smell. I bought another bottle that said original, but looked slightly different saying it has NEW LONG LASTING SCENT. It was the same scent I had just given away, but this one was stronger. This is all I have ever used for a liquid cleaner and now will have to find a new brand. I foresee you loosing faithful customers over this. Trying to fix something that wasn't broken was a mistake. I love my original pine-sol. It's only the new smells that are driving me awayl PLEASE BRING MY O-R-I-G I N-A-.L, BACK! tHERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT. THANKS

WHAT HAPPENED?? I have been a life long Pine-Sol customer...until now. I use Pine-Sol not only for it's cleaning & disinfecting qualities but for the ORIGINAL smell. This new "longer lasting sent" is awful. I don't like the smell, when we clean with it, the house does not smell crisp & clean. I like to add Pine-Sol to my towels, rags, sheets & dish cloths to ensure they are clean. The basement normally smells of Pine, but the scent leaves my items & they just smell fresh. This morning I was folding towels & about fell over from the "new scent". PLEASE bring back the original Pine-Sol. I would hate to have to find another cleaner.
