New pine sol literally gave me a headache from the strong nauseating scent. It smelled like that other horrible cleaner Fabuloso. I used it once and never again. I gave the practically new bottle to my mom, she hated it as well. It ended up being poured down the drain. I've used it for years and since my childhood it reminds me of my grandmother. Sad to say, I will no longer purchase the new pine sol. Extremely disappointed, what a shame. Please go back to original formula, nothing out there compares to it.

I miss the original scent!! The new, improved scent is NOT an improvement! It is overwhelming and sickeningly sweet. I loved the smell of the original pine-sol, it brought me back to my childhood. I use pine-sol to clean my whole house, and it is a great cleaner that I feel safe using around my toddler and pets, but what made it stand out for me was the original scent. I may have to consider switching cleaners...

The new and longer lasting smell is sad and not going to work - Pine-sol original is a classic, and you can't just change a classic. I know a lot of people who are not going to buy Pine-sol anymore, though they probably won't even bother to take the time to speak up about it. Pine-sol owes it to their customers to give us the Pine-sol we all know and love. The new smell smells like laundry detergent or something that could be any product, but its not Pine-sol. Give us back the real Pine-sol Original. I, and many others I know, will not be buying these products until its back!!

The new scent is nothing like the original even though the label says original. This is a terrible idea. It would have been better to have a pine-sol "shortage" than trying to pass off whatever this is. The new/original isn't even the same consistency. I poured some in the sink water and I thought, something isn't right with this. So I googled it. I knew something was up. I'm going to try to get my money back. The original reminded me of my first house. When I was 20 and broke, I bought it. Now I'm 30 and not so broke and I still would buy it-if it was the same. I'm actually depressed over this. I know the old stuff is going to be sold online. But I want to be able to run to the store and buy it and not pay shipping or wait a week to get it.

The only reason I give this a 3 is the new smell, other than that it is a great cleaner and disinfectant. I concur with others. I miss the original scent of the regular Pine Sol. My mother used it and it reminds me of those weekends when she cleaned the house, when I was a kid. I would not use anything else to clean my bathrooms or floors. Please bring it back, very disappointed with the change.

The last Pine Sol I bought listed glycolic acid as the active ingrediant. Where's the percentage of pine oil it used to list? And the smell is different too. I'm fixing to break a 40 year tradition and no longer buy this product. You've listed it as "original" and it isn't, now is it? Did you think nobody would notice? I did. And I'm very upset over it. x

I purchased Pine-Sol today, the packaging was different, but it said "original" so I was satisfied. In opening and using this product, I am seriously disappointed. The smell is completely different from before, the water didn't turn white, and the cleaning power was definitely not the same.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this new scent. I have used pine sol my entire life and will no longer be purchasing your product. I hate the new smell and do not feel it cleans as well. VERY VERY disappointing. And i find it hard to believe this is because of a shortage of pine oil- i am sure its 100% that its now cheaper to make.

The smell of the "new" original Pine Sol makes me physically sick to my stomach. I didn't mind the "original" smell; but this one is too over powering. I will switch to the lemon version of Pine Sol and never buy the original again. Please remember that many people have problems with strong fragrances that give them headaches, nausea, etc. I agree with another user who said she thought she would never go online to specifically complain about Pine Sol. I've used it forever; but I cannot tolerate the strong smell of the original any more. The smell permeates my entire house. Yuck! My advice: Don't mess with success!

I cant buy the pinesol products anymore! theyve changed the scent and the smell of it is not good. When are they returning the product to the way it originally was, so that I can buy it again? Its just not the same, its like a totally different product. The new 'longerlasting scent', its not good.
