I HATE HATE HATE the new smell. Bring back Original smell. New smell gags me. That should say it all. Bring back the old smell I will start buying it again. I will not recommend this product till the sent has changed back if it dose i will change my star rating and recommendations.

I have been using Pine Sol original scent for 40 years. Recently, I purchased a bottle with the "new longer lasting scent" and was very disappointed. I used to love the way the house smelled after I cleaned with Pine Sol; everything, especially the bathroom, smelled so fresh and clean. The new scent, however, smells like a cheap imitation pine scent. It is horrible!! I have tried the other Pine Sol scents but always preferred the natural pine scent. With that scent gone, I will NEVER use Pine Sol again. After so many years of loyalty I do not know what I will replace it with. Whatever I decide to use, however, will smell much better than the new Pine Sol Original!!

Oh what have they done! The orginial pine sol was my favorite cleaner. This "new improved scent" is absolutely horrible. The smell smells like dollar store cleaner and just plain stinks! I will not be buying anymore pine sol..!!!!! Unless they change back to the fresh clean smelling scent! What a bad move on the company's end. They lost a dedicated customer who could buy 2-3 bottles month! I'm so disappointed!!!!

I too have used Original Pine Sol for over 40 years and remember coming home after my mother cleaning to the wonderful scent of Pine Sol. I have tried generics and other scents of Pine Sol, for me none of them are as "clean smelling" as Original.... So I was very disappointed also with the "new longer lasting smell".... Keep trying PLEASE for our old "Original" smell !!!!!!!

I miss the original smell. After years of using the original and switching to the new scent... It's not the same great smell. The new smell does not smell as good. When I wanted something different, I always switched to lemon or lavender! I hope you bring back the original scent. I really miss the smell! I hope you can bring back the original scent which is an old favorite of mine!

When I was a child my mom cleaned with pine-sol and I loved the smell of it! So as an adult, I used pine-sol too. When I went to use it yesterday, I thought that I must have brought a generic brand or something, because it smells so bad it gave me a headache. This one is not "original scent" as it says and it doesn't smell great. Please let me know when the real original one comes back or I won't buy it again.

The smell of the "new" original Pine Sol makes me physically sick to my stomach. I didn't mind the "original" smell; but this one is too over powering. I will switch to the lemon version of Pine Sol and never buy the original again. Please remember that many people have problems with strong fragrances that give them headaches, nausea, etc. I agree with another user who said she thought she would never go online to specifically complain about Pine Sol. I've used it forever; but I cannot tolerate the strong smell of the original any more. The smell permeates my entire house. Yuck! My advice: Don't mess with success!

I'm sorry, I don't like the new scent. I didn't know it was changed until I used it. It was really noticeable. There is such a strong chemical scent, not the pleasant scent of the original. I thought I bought the wrong kind. Sorry about the lack of pine oil that you are having. I had to let you know my thoughts on it. I can't use it. I am sorry because I love your company and want to support it.

Have used PineSol for years on all of my surface cleaning, as did my grandmother and mother (my children use it also). The smell of PineSol is the reason I use it!!!!!!!!! When I poured it I noticed an odd, somewhat nauseating smell. I even checked the label to be sure I had picked up the original scent. It said original scent, but smells more like another brand of cleaner, which I tried but tossed out because of the unappealing smell. WHAT HAPPENED?????? Unless the original "original scent" becomes available, I will no longer be purchasing this product.
