Pine Sol original has been my go-to cleaner for decades. Bought a bottle and brought it home. Poured some out and smell was disgusting, like cheap bathroom spray. I hate it. Looked at bottle upset with myself for buying the wrong product, but no, it now has a "longer lasting scent." That should read "disgusting new scent you will hate."

Sorry boys, but your new original scent is a loser! It no longer smells like the original Pine Sol I loved, and really does not last any longer (thankfully!). After more than 20 years of brand loyalty, I will be looking for something else on my next shopping trip. Just as with New Coke, this one should be sent back to the lab. Please bring back the real Original! Thanks for listening

its okay to introduce a new scent but please...DO NOT MESS WITH THE ORIGINAL PINE SCENT!!! i too was disappointed to discover only after buying a large commercial size and pouring it that the scent is not the original. you have built a legacy on the original product and i just dont understand. not only is it the wrong scent, you have watered down the concentration of the product!!! what are you doing? i too will have to return this to the store for a refund. this is ridiculous!!!!!! after all of these years you mess up your legacy product...wow!?!

I have been using a bottle of pine-sol almost every week for the last 10 years. Even if I didn't have time to clean the whole house, I knew I could fill the sink with pine-sol, wipe down the counters and the house would smell amazing. When we moved into a new house, the first time I used Pine-sol - my husband and son both came in and said "it smells like home now!". Now it is absolutely ruined. The new smell is horrible and gives me a headache. I cannot imagine what would make you choose this scent... It is nauseating and all the wonderful feelings that came with a clean "pine-sol" house are gone as well. Worst decision EVER.

I would give it zero stars if I could. Reminds me of a gas station restroom!!! My family has used original Pine Sol for generations but I will not use it anymore. The new smell is nauseating. Puine sol, take a page from Coca Cola and get rid of the New Coke!

Used the newpine sol yesterday for the first time. Could tell as soon as I put it in mop bucket, was not the same. Then I read the label and found out it was different. Did not leave any scent like the orig. I clean in the American Legion, and you always have kind of a Linger smell from the night before, which the old got rid of. But not the new Pine Sol. I will hunt around and see if I can find some of the good stuff !

I am giving Pine-Sol New Scent one star - I don't like it at all. The Original rates five stars!! I have been using Pine-Sol for as long as I can remember. My mom taught me how to clean our bathrooms, saying you will need this skill when you're on your own. Of course I use Pine-Sol now too! Pleasant reminder of days of old, plus you know what you cleaned is clean. My grandson likes the way the Original Pine-Sol smelled too. He said it makes him happy. The new scent smells fake. It smells like all those Christmas products I have always passed up. It smells like it is trying to be something it is not - that fabuloso product. Which I will not use!! The new scent has a tag on label on the top right side of the bottle that I didn't notice until I opened the bottle and noticed the different scent. It has to go! I don't like it. It gives me a headache and I will be returning it for a refund. I hope I can still find the Original!!

I have used PineSol for 48 years as did my mother. Why have you ruined the product? Last month I purchased a bottle and immediately upon opening I knew you have changed the product and not for the better. Now it reeks of a horribly strong patchouli scent and it does not clean well at all. After cleaning the bathroom, we had to open the windows and leave the house for hours. The horrible smell lasted for days. I returned to the store and purchased another bottle of "original" and the same thing happened. I WILL NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT again! I have read many of the reviews here and can conclude that you have lost a lot of your customers.

Pine-Sol has always been my favorite cleaner. However, the new smell is terrible!!! What happened to the original smell? We also use Pine-Sol at dog shelter, noticed the dogs sneeze when we now use Pine-Sol with new smell. Please consider going back to old smell. Thanks LT
