I picked up a new bottle of pine-sol recently and when I opened it, I immediately noticed that it wasn't the Original as printed on the bottle. I obviously didn't know that Pine-Sol changed the product and I'm quite annoyed by it. I hadn't bought any in a while because I just used up the last of the old bottle which I usually buy a lot at one time. Well, now that will most likely change unless they bring back the ORIGINAL scent. Please change the bottle to indicate NEW SCENT or NOT THE ORIGINAL so consumers aren't mislead. When you change a product, you can't call it the original. I used to love the original pine-sol, but now it's just ok. It seems watered down. If at all possible, please bring back the Original Pine-Sol. I gave this new one a try and it just doesn't do it for me. It's not horrible, but it isn't the best anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used Pine-Sol forever in our household. When they changed the formula several years ago we noticed the smell just was not the same great cleaning small. It made my husband's work clothes smell old and weird.

Who decided that the best thing to do for "Original" Pine-Sol is to change the smell?! This stuff stinks. It's no longer the "original" and it smells nothing like pine, so the entire name needs to be changed. This stuff smells like a cheap perfume and Fabuloso mixture. At 8 1/2 months pregnant, Pine-Sol is all I've ever used to clean my house even craving the smell during all 5 of my pregnancies. Now it just makes me nauseous. Please, please, please, please, please un-improve it!! Change it back. We don't like this new smell. It's horrible.

I remember my mother and grandmother cleaning with the "Original" scented Pin-sol and I used it up until a couple years ago when it seemed to have disappeared without any forewarning. I am saddened and upset that such a great cleaning product used for decades by millions of people and companies has been taken away. I know with new technology and the new generations of people that have entered into this dirty world, cannot tell the difference of a cleaning product and its purpose, which is probably why the bottle is now labeled "multi-surface" but this product stinks!!! Literally, it smells like urine mixed with that nasty smell of Fabulosa cleaning liquid. And believe me, I know what urine smells like. I clean double, sometimes triple thinking I didn't do a good enough job cleaning up the grime and smell, just to use on the "multi-surfaces in other rooms to find the odor has followed the bottle. Something is very wrong with this new formula and I will no longer purchase this product, instead I will use Comet powder for both my cleaning and "clean smelling" needs. Please do the public a favor and make an announcement if or when you plan on bringing back the true "Original" scent!!!

I grew up with the original pine sol scent and only purchased it as an adult for that reason, I would love to see the original scent be available as well, I understand that manufacturing this product has to change with the times, but we older generation should have a choice too in what we would like to remember growing up with too. Right now, I do not purchase this product for that reason, no choice of the original scent.

Hate the new formulation of Pine Sol scent. I have bought Pine Sol for over 50 years. You folks should learn something about not trying to FIX what isn't broken. I LOVED the Pine Sol Original. Bring it back. Remember NEW COKE? Total failure. I am returning the product to the store I purchased it from.

My grandma and mother used pine-sol when I was growing up. Coming home to windows blowing in the breeze and the smell of clean in the air is my most favorite memories as a child. I have a 6 year old daughter that I would LOVE to share the feeling with but you changed my pine-sol! It doesn't do the same cleaning as before and the smell...smells like cheap perfume to me. PLEASE bring back the original.

Oh what have they done! The orginial pine sol was my favorite cleaner. This "new improved scent" is absolutely horrible. The smell smells like dollar store cleaner and just plain stinks! I will not be buying anymore pine sol..!!!!! Unless they change back to the fresh clean smelling scent! What a bad move on the company's end. They lost a dedicated customer who could buy 2-3 bottles month! I'm so disappointed!!!!

I recently purchased a new bottle of original Pinesol only to find that they've changed the "original" to a new scent advertised to last longer. Trouble is, it stinks and I can't wait for it to go away. I've always enjoyed the scent of the original formula and can't stand the heavy axe-body-spray-esque scent. I'm not even sure I can stand using the rest of the the huge bottle I invested in.

We are regular users of Original Pine-sol, and usually buy the very large bottle. Imagine our surprise, and dismay when the great clean smell of original Pine sol was altered, and made our home smell like a chemical factory. You struck out with this one...Bring back the REAL original scent!!
