The original scent of Pine-Sol was excellent. I hate the new scent and would like to request to please go back to the original scent or at least give consumers a choice of the new scent or original scent of the Pine-Sol. The new scent is the reason I rated the product average. If it was the original scent, it would be rated excellent. I have used this product all of my life and it is by far my favorite of the scents. I love the way it made the whole house smell. I would recommend the original scent but not the new scent.

I grow up on Pin-Sol and I always had it stocked in my own place. The first time I opened up the bottle and smelled the new smell, I thought someone in the store was messing around or maybe the factory accidently but Fabuloso cleaning fluid in the Pine-Sol bottle. I'm so sad that Pine-Sol does not smell the same. I have not purchase any Pine-Sol since. Please let me know if the original smell will ever return. Thank you.

I can't explain what exactly makes it turn my stomach, but I can't stand the "longer lasting" scent! It doesn't smell like pine; it smells like some weird pine perfume! I hate it so much that after I used it once, I gave the rest of it away. I've been buying Pine Sol for 20 years, but will never buy it again until I see a Pine Sol "Classic" label (because apparently, you're still calling this new horrible formula "Original"...)

I go through the 144 oz bottle in a week to a week and a half in my HOUSE, office, clothes, etc. I bought it last week not seeing the new and improved label on the bottle, which indicates a NEW and longer lasting scent. Got it home, put it into my spray bottles as I usually do and begin to clean with it. I kept smelling a WEIRD and UNUSUAL smell and it finally dawned on me it was the Pine-Sol. The smell is so nauseating and is NOTHING like the historical SCENT; I, as many of us grew up on. The old original smell is such a staple for many of us and reminds us of cleaning with our mother and grandmothers. There is NOTHING that can compare to the ORIGINAL scent and I petition that everyone let the company know our DISSATISFACTION!!!!!!! SO THEY CAN BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCENT WHICH IS SUCH AN AMERICAN STAPLE. FLORIDA

Who decided that the best thing to do for "Original" Pine-Sol is to change the smell?! This stuff stinks. It's no longer the "original" and it smells nothing like pine, so the entire name needs to be changed. This stuff smells like a cheap perfume and Fabuloso mixture. At 8 1/2 months pregnant, Pine-Sol is all I've ever used to clean my house even craving the smell during all 5 of my pregnancies. Now it just makes me nauseous. Please, please, please, please, please un-improve it!! Change it back. We don't like this new smell. It's horrible.

I love the original pine scent but since you changed the scent I have stop buying pine sol all together. When I opened the bottle it smelled like a generic lavender and I was very disappointed, but I tried it anyway I was dissatisfied that same bottle has been sitting in my cabinet for over 3 month's , please bring back the original scent of pine I really do miss my pine sol

I am so upset. I purchased a new bottle of Pine-Sol and the scent is terrible. It is NOT my original scent that I have used and loved for over 42 years! PLEASE- PLEASE give us the original scent back or at least give us a choice. It looks like I will be searching for another product that I know will not be as good as my old faithful-Pine-Sol.

I am 45 years old and have loved the truly original Pine-Sol Pine Scent since I was a child. I grew up in an old Victorian home without air conditioning or ceiling fans. We used to open the windows to get a nice cross-breeze throughout the house. We always used Pine-Sol; and there was nothing better than cleaning the house, especially during the spring and summer and into autumn, and then being outdoors and smelling the fragrance of Pine-Sol drifting out of the windows between the sheer curtains as they fluttered with the breeze. The fragrance has always taken me back. The pine oil is also an excellent cleanser. As an adult, I have always used Pine-Sol and have used it throughout the home for cleaning. Even though I love the steam cleaner for my floors, I actually stopped using it just because I wanted that clean smell of Pine-Sol throughout my house. With this change, however, the smell is gone; the cleanliness is gone. It's genuinely a change for the worse. In a time of economic distress, when the quality of so much else is deteriorating, this is the one product that I thought would never change. Sadly, it, too, has succumbed to the dustbin of fading memories and times that were. I certainly can't force a change, but I can express my deep disappointment and hope that my voice will be heard. If not, the sound of my coins will certainly not rattle within Clorox's bank account anymore. I will not buy this new formula ever again; and since I don't care for any of the other fragrances, I just won't be buying Pine-Sol at all. I will revert to my steam cleaner and save my money with water from the tap; and since I have a well, it won't cost me a dime. It's truly a sad day in America.

Don't fix what aint broken- I bought Pine-Sol only for the cleaning power & wonderful scent! you just lost a customer due to this change- I would only buy this product again if the original scent returns to the way it used to be. I know I am not alone in this- this, in my opinion is as bad an idea as when they had the "New Coke" in the 80's! -BAD IDEA!

I have always bought Pine-Sol, I bought some the other day and was not pleased with the new scent, I would like to trade either for the original or lemon scent. My address is in New Mexico right now but will be moving to Texas later this week. When I get my new physical address I will let you know
