I like most others have grown up with that one and only pine sol scent. My grandmother and mother have used this always to clean. That smell always meant the house was cleaned and nothing else matches that clean smell. I am so sad to say that the new scent is to much of a strong smell for me to continue to use. As one of the other reviewer stated that it is like a tradition that we have passed on to our daughters and now it's no longer available. Please bring back that heavenly clean original scent.

I am a Pinesol-aholic! I would spend everything on original pinesol...couldnt get enough of it! I was about to go on "my strange addiction",,, I had to work with some in a cup next to me. Always had a spray bottle with me...Loved it! Now this new scent makes me want to swith to a competitor...but Im torn!!! bring back the old original scent!!!!!

For years and years and years I've used the original pine-sol. I even went through a period of being addicted to the smell and carried a bottle with me everywhere for quick clean ups. Then, by accident - because there is no clear announcement on the bottle, except in small letters, I picked up the new smell pine sol. BLLLLAAAACCCCHHHHH... NOT THE SAME. Bring the old pine sol back. I won't buy the new bottle but would rather revert to imitations of the original pine sol in other brands first. I'm so sad. Nothing in my home smells that pine sol clean. The aroma that lifted from a bucket of hot water with pine sol as I got ready to clean...will it ever be mine again ? This is serious. Think of all the people that are seriously addicted to the smell of your original pine sol... what are you doing to them ???

I am still in shock that they chose to change the smell of Original scent. I am now wondering if they changed whats in it? As many Pine-Sol lovers know, it is used for Way more than cleaning! It has so many uses. So sad. The New Scent is -----un-smellable---un-usable. Ewww Hope you can change it back??

It may clean as well, but it smells terrible! Lasts too long and is way too fragrant. Really unfortunate that if it needed to be modified because of federal regulations, this is the best they could do. I will return what I have and will not buy anymore.

OMG, I just bought a whole gallon of Original Pinesol. I have bought this product for decades, and have always loved the really clean pine smell. But this "New Improved" version STINKS!! It no long smells of pine at all, but of a resinous offensive balsam fir. I used it once and am dumping the whole rest of the gallon because I can't stand the smell. I have already bought another brand of pine cleaner. You have lost my business by trying to improve on success.

I have been using Pine Sol original scent for 40 years. Recently, I purchased a bottle with the "new longer lasting scent" and was very disappointed. I used to love the way the house smelled after I cleaned with Pine Sol; everything, especially the bathroom, smelled so fresh and clean. The new scent, however, smells like a cheap imitation pine scent. It is horrible!! I have tried the other Pine Sol scents but always preferred the natural pine scent. With that scent gone, I will NEVER use Pine Sol again. After so many years of loyalty I do not know what I will replace it with. Whatever I decide to use, however, will smell much better than the new Pine Sol Original!!

Oh what have they done! The orginial pine sol was my favorite cleaner. This "new improved scent" is absolutely horrible. The smell smells like dollar store cleaner and just plain stinks! I will not be buying anymore pine sol..!!!!! Unless they change back to the fresh clean smelling scent! What a bad move on the company's end. They lost a dedicated customer who could buy 2-3 bottles month! I'm so disappointed!!!!

I am 45 years old and have loved the truly original Pine-Sol Pine Scent since I was a child. I grew up in an old Victorian home without air conditioning or ceiling fans. We used to open the windows to get a nice cross-breeze throughout the house. We always used Pine-Sol; and there was nothing better than cleaning the house, especially during the spring and summer and into autumn, and then being outdoors and smelling the fragrance of Pine-Sol drifting out of the windows between the sheer curtains as they fluttered with the breeze. The fragrance has always taken me back. The pine oil is also an excellent cleanser. As an adult, I have always used Pine-Sol and have used it throughout the home for cleaning. Even though I love the steam cleaner for my floors, I actually stopped using it just because I wanted that clean smell of Pine-Sol throughout my house. With this change, however, the smell is gone; the cleanliness is gone. It's genuinely a change for the worse. In a time of economic distress, when the quality of so much else is deteriorating, this is the one product that I thought would never change. Sadly, it, too, has succumbed to the dustbin of fading memories and times that were. I certainly can't force a change, but I can express my deep disappointment and hope that my voice will be heard. If not, the sound of my coins will certainly not rattle within Clorox's bank account anymore. I will not buy this new formula ever again; and since I don't care for any of the other fragrances, I just won't be buying Pine-Sol at all. I will revert to my steam cleaner and save my money with water from the tap; and since I have a well, it won't cost me a dime. It's truly a sad day in America.

I absolutely hate this product. I used to love it until you changed the smell. The new smell is gross. It used to remind me of a clean home. It also gives me a headache now.Due to my sensitivity of smells pinesol used to be my favorite cleaning product, not anymore. Please go back to original scent. Please.
