The simple two dial control makes it easy for me to operate it. The only downside is, I wish it had a thermostat on it just to tell me the temperature of the room.

I use it in my home office, and has made me able to be so much more productive this summer. We had a really long extreme heat wave at the end of June, and my house only has an evaporative cooler. With temperatures 110 plus for over 15 days, I would have been a goner. This little unit saved my summer!

My room gets full sun most of the day and we've been having temps in the upper 80s and 90s most of the time. This unit does a great job keeping the room cool, and sometimes cold, whenever I need it. So glad I bought it!

The unit cools our approx 170 sq ft bedroom perfectly... and as a bonus, it added little to our electric bill when we had it going for about two weeks during a recent heatwave. Very pleased with our purchase.

Does an excellent job of cooling, and the easing into the compressor modes is a good plus! The louver works well in its new design of angled disks; that change air flow directions. I would prefer it split in the middle though; so you could direct the air flow of left & right sides individualy. Otherwise am very happy with the purchase so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought two units in August, our house is 700square feet. if I turn both units on they get the temperature down from 80 to 73 in 3 hours. they worked very well for me I love them. The installation is veru straight forward. Just make sure to tilt the unit tothe outside a little so it keeps the water out. I was worried about the absence of drainage when I read the reviews. But when I actually installed them it never got any water inside the house. So I am pretty satisfied with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't really used much but satisfied so far. Easy install, but one issue. Happy with a/c but the fan runs continuously. Fan does not shut off when unit shuts down after reaching set temperature. I called the help line and they said it does continue to run all the time. If I had known this first I would have looked further for one that fan shuts down when unit does.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this unit in a small 15x6 room. I'm using the low setting with the thermostat on the coldest temperature (#7) and my room is very cold. However, in the evening it gets too cold so I lower the thermostat one setting (#6) and for some reason it just can't keep up. The temperature is warmer than you would expect if you just lowered it by 1 setting. So, it's either freezing or it's not cool enough to be comfortable. But all in all, it's a great little AC unit which is also very quiet.
