I am well pleased with the $109.00 Window Air Conditioning unit I purchased on line. It has well exceeded my expectations. It is more than sufficient for the area in which I purchased it for. It is quite, easy to use and was very easy to put together and install. The cost to run it has been negligible. I highly recommend this unit for any small room in a home or office.

I've explored a lot of options while searching for an air conditioning unit for my cozy NY apartment. Found that the Frigidaire FFRA0511R1 air conditioner is the cheapest and most suitable for my needs. I bought 2 unit which are perfect for my place, they cool down there respectable rooms very quickly and fit the windows perfectly. Assembled them both with no professional help and it was very very easy. They are a little noisy but not a lot that you can't sleep. Definitely recommenced as the top choice for a cheap air conditioner for the hot summer days!

The original owner had a window a/ci nstalled in the wall which functioned well at the beginning but aged to the point it had to be replaced. So the seach began. I was looking for a unit that would fit into the existing space in the wall and found this unit. Based on the size of the room and its limits it was the correct choice. The brutal Arizona summers put it to the test and it performed well and allowed to comfortably use the office space which nis its purpose. Simple install and set up. Very pleased with this unit and also that summer has passed.

I bought this a few months ago for the summer and it's worked really well when we've needed it. I would say it does have a bit of difficulty with a normal size living room when there is no door to close off the air in the high heat of the summer, but if you put a curtain over the doorway that helps greatly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using this unit in a small 15x6 room. I'm using the low setting with the thermostat on the coldest temperature (#7) and my room is very cold. However, in the evening it gets too cold so I lower the thermostat one setting (#6) and for some reason it just can't keep up. The temperature is warmer than you would expect if you just lowered it by 1 setting. So, it's either freezing or it's not cool enough to be comfortable. But all in all, it's a great little AC unit which is also very quiet.
