[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit in May and for the majority of the summer, it worked great. Was only using it at night to keep my room cool. By early September, it had died. Thankfully, it was covered by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty. The warranty process was relatively painless (as those things go) and I received a replacement unit within 2 weeks. With that said, there's no reason why the unit should have died within 4 months of light use. Am hoping the replacement gets me through next summer. Not holding my breath for a functional unit beyond that time period

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good price, fairly quiet & cools a small room very well . . . BUT it didn't fit in my (unbeknownst to me) non-standard window frame, as it appeared it would during both my research prior to purchase and in my initial reading of the installation instructions. The "feet" on the bottom (that the filler panel assembly slides into) were just a FRUSTRATINGLY TINY bit too wide for my frame - so I had to set the unit on top of instead of down in the frame. Because of the poor fit, I had to stuff a lot of open spaces with the included foam. (pic 1 shows the "foot" i.e the part w/ the 3 metal dots & surrounding foam.) Using both sides of the filler panel assembly was also just a tiny bit too wide so I pushed the unit to one side of the window, installing just one side of the panel (pic 2). The filler panel is very thin & provides little insulation or wind blockage. In addition, my window has a small metal rocker handle that "locks" the window closed, creating a poor fit where the unit's top rail meets the window (which is the only thing holding my unit in place since the "feet" didn't fit in the frame at bottom) - this caused a bit of a problem with the required tilt angle but I think it still has 1/4" so should be fine (pic 3). Great little unit overall IF it fits your frame . . . despite the poor fit, it worth keeping because of the required small size, decent price & good performance.

It's been on since the first day I brought it. Great product and I will continue to buy more products from the frigidaire company.

It's a pretty small unit, so as expected it really only cools down the room that it's in. I've found that putting a small fan in front of it can help move the cold air farther. Overall, it does the job for an affordable air conditioner.

I'll come home and it'll have my apartment nice and cool at times it will be to cold I'll have to turn the notch down a tad bit I haven't had any problems with this A/C unit hopefully it will last for a few years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased about a month ago and have been so happy since! I installed it myself - instructions were clear. It cools my whole bedroom down within 15 minutes, and I rarely have it set higher than low-medium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It cools my bedroom quicker than expected and works great. Some people have complained about it being loud, but I haven't thought it was any louder than any other AC on the market. It's been great and I highly recommend it.

We live in South Florida. This summer has been brutal. We added this little AC to our bedroom and it has changed our lives. It is so powerful and so efficient and we are so comfortable now. We couldn't live without it. The only thing that would make it better is if the vents that control the direction of the airflow were better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit is small and fits well into a window and doesn't take up much space. Unit is quite noisy, more than I expected. I have found it difficult to adjust the fins which control where the cool air is directed. Rather simple but the set up does not allow the air to flow straight out of the unit. Over a fair choice for the price point.
