Even though the room has a half wall, this model keeps my room nice and cool so I can get a good night's sleep. It's a little noisy - so you have to be okay with more than just white noise.

I currently live in LA in a very old hotel that was built in 1925 and it gets extremely hot in the room when I first put the air conditioner in they work fine beautifully now it's about a month and a half later I having trouble with it the knobs on it like they want to line up right and work properly and don't get me started on the vent circulation the way you have to move it I don't know because of my nerves difficult the 9constantly spits water I'm not happy with it

I've found Frigidaire appliances to work very well in the past, so I hope that holds up. I do have two complaints, however. (1) Filters should never come out to the side. Think about it: many people have rather deep windows. How am I supposed to pull the filter out and clean it without removing the air conditioner? Is it that hard to make the filter come out the front? (2) Why does this require such a wide window? The unit is 16" wide; what on earth does it need 7" of clearance for? It fits in narrower windows easily, though you have to cut the bracket. I realize I'm forfeiting the warranty this way (so I REALLY hope this unit holds up), but my windows are only about 22" wide: just shy enough that I have to cut about 1" off the bracket, but once in it's fine.

Our new Frigidaire is quiet, efficient and cools our bedroom faster than any other we have ever had. The simplicity of operating it and installing it make it one of our best ever purchases. We could not be more thrilled!

My husband and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Great little machine, pretty quiet too and does the job we need it to do. Room is about 12 feet by 16 feet and cools it down within a half hour and that's when it's been off all day and the room is hot, hot, hot. Would have preferred it had digital but maybe because it's so small they don't make digital ones for this size. But the knobs are easy to turn, so no problem there. And, BTW, we've never had to turn the AC to High. Works great on Low.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit cools exceptionally, however it runs constantly since there is no automatic thermostat to periodically shut the unit down when a selected temperature has been achieved. This makes for a costantly running unit with associated noise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this AC a few months ago for a very small room. If it's not set at the highest setting it will not cool. It doesn't specify in the instructions if the AC needs to drain or where. It is installed with a slight tilt.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first Frigidaire air conditioner that I have owned. So far, it is a great little unit. I bought it for my bedroom and it has done its job. The room is comfortable to sleep in, even though we have had an exceptionally hot and humid summer.

We just moved to a new apartment and since it is already summer time, and there were no airconditioning units in our new place, we decided to purchase 1 each for the 2 bedrooms and the kitchen and dining area. Top of mind is the Frigidaire brand not only based on personal experience, but also on the numerous good reviews we've seen online. It is truly a trusted brand and is known for high quality, durable, and innovative appliances. As expected, the units we purchased has been nothing but great, from the easy installation features, the cooling performance (lesser time to reach desired temperature and bigger area of cooling coverage), plus the many user and Eco-friendly options they offer. We cannot ask for anything more. Two thumbs up.

It conditions the air!!!! At coldest temperature I always have to turn it down or pull up a blanket. It's nice, serve the purpose I needed it for. Also if I open the door to the bedroom it will cool the hallway and the other bedroom as well a little.
