I live in the deep south and have chronic health issues that make me at risk in the heat. This ac unit has been awesome at keeping the small bedroom cool. The temperature on a 84 degree day was reaching likely close to 100 in here and now it's pretty comfy. It's not any louder than running fans on high and works great so far! I'm glad I paid extra for a reliable brand rather than to risk it on a cheaper generic ac in store.

From the moment we plugged it in, and continues to blow fresh cold air..reminds us of being back in Alaska feeling that cold glacier air.

For awhile I had the hallway closed off to the other rooms to see how well it did, but now I keep the hall open, set up a fan and it has no problem keeping the other rooms cool also. Not to mention it's nice and quiet! My only complaint is that I hadn't bought it sooner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit in May and for the majority of the summer, it worked great. Was only using it at night to keep my room cool. By early September, it had died. Thankfully, it was covered by the manufacturer's 1-year warranty. The warranty process was relatively painless (as those things go) and I received a replacement unit within 2 weeks. With that said, there's no reason why the unit should have died within 4 months of light use. Am hoping the replacement gets me through next summer. Not holding my breath for a functional unit beyond that time period

I'm in my sixties and I installed this myself. It is so wonderful in my bedroom, that I can often use it to cool the entire house when the weather is not terribly hot. It's very economical and quiet. I absolutely love it. I'm on 2 years with it and it is a winner!!!!

I was expecting to have to use this in our small bedroom but we put it in the living room which is open to the kitchen as well and it does a great job at keeping the room cool!

I have high ceilings in a 100 y/o building. It's just right for my needs. It's quite small but does the trick. Should have gotten a bigger unit but I like it so far. The price on Amazon was right for my budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of our best buys. Easy to istall and works great for our bed room. Has a five year sealed system warranty. This replaced a foriegn made unit which the compressor died one year and one day after purchase. Guess how long its' warranty was for?
