I was skeptical because the last air condotioner i bought blew out hot air. It Did not cool my room at all. As soon as i plugged this in i felt cool air. My 2nd floor room which used to feel like a sauna now feels so cool and comfortable. Id definitley reccomend!

I have had this appliance for about eight weeks. It chills the air more effectively than I expected. However, the most surprising feature is the air flow director which actually allows the user to push the air where you want it at any given time. Thanks for this effective and welcome product.

It came with all of the necessary hardware to mount, with the exception of a sheet of plywood that I cut down in order to mount the unit in a horizontal-sliding vinyl window frame (a vertically-sliding frame would not need plywood). This unit works well for the space that we are in. I'm completely happy with my purchase!

It has definitely lived up to its favorable reviews. In fact, it cools the small room where it has been installed so quickly & thoroughly that I turn it off within minutes & open the windows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an older, bigger frigidaire 6K btu unit that was overkill for just a 12'×12' bedroom and needed replacing. This one is not only smaller, but quieter too. If you follow the instructions and initially set the settings to max until the room cools to the temp you want it, it works great and pretty quick too. If you dont, it may take a little longer to cool the room, but it will. I was worried about getting a smaller unit, but glad I did. This one cools this size room easily, is smaller and a lot quieter than my old one.

I bought this AC few weeks ago and I'm completely satisfied with it. It's very useful for the terrible temperature in summer in NYC. Other than the cool air, it also works well on dehumidifying the room which makes better feeling. In conclusion, it is a good and affordable AC for summer.

Nice basic AC, cools small room down very well in 100 degree heat. Room is approx. 12 x 12.
