This is not how we want our customers to feel about their products. A thing to remember, all air conditioner make some kind of noise when operation and its certainly normal. Example of noises or sound you may hear; Vibration, High Pitched Chatter, Pinging or Swishing, Gurgle/Hiss, Sound of Rushing Air. For not cold enough concern, if the you feels cold air being exhausted from the front vent of AC unit, the unit is working. Is the room enclosed? The unit will struggle to maintain temperatures if new air is constantly entering the room. Close all openings (windows, doors, side curtains on the unit, and window framing the unit sits into) in the room where the unit is located. Installation is correct. Ensure nothing is blocking or impeding air flow at the entire front or entire back of the unit. All louvers on sides must also not be cover or blocked. Impeding the air flow will cause the unit to struggle to maintain temperature. What is in the room? Unit will struggle to maintain in an environment with large heat producing appliances (examples: pizza oven, computer server, manufacturing machinery.)
