Brewed on the 6 oz setting, made 2 packs for a 16 oz cup. Needed to stir it to even out the chocolate distribution, since most of the chocolate comes out in the first 5-10 seconds of brewing, leaving the cup topped off with just plain hot water. Overall pretty decent.

I am so happy that swiss miss has finally come out with a k-cup. This is my favorite hot cocoa and i cant wait to buy it. Hope they never stop selling it. there is nothing like the traditional hot cocoa with milk either. I will probably buy both still, just cause I can!!!!!!!!!!!

As much as I'm a Keurig fan, I despise using these hot chocolate pods! I tried them years ago and was a fail, so I tried giving it another shot hoping Keurig fixed their problem and to no avail, FAILURE AGAIN. The error message keeps saying the “water is under pressure, etc.” so I use the little orange ball to clean the needle and still, error. Over and over again. My toddler loves having hot coco and was excited to try it again, but will now just resort to making it the old school way and not waste my time with the pods. Disappointed and waste of money. Only reason there's one start is because I couldn't leave none.

I just got my order, I know is a bit too early for hot cocoa but I wanted to see if it was as good as the instant one and this is even better! I cannot wait for the upcoming holidays to have another cup of hot cocoa! not too sweet, just add marshmallows and is perfect!

Swiss Miss packets remind me of my childhood. I got excited when I saw this item in a sample pack, but was sorely disappointed when I tried it. On the midsize setting (a normal coffee cup), the hot chocolate tastes pretty watery. You're better off buying a better powder (Ghirardelli hot chocolate bags are $5) and spending the extra time fiddling with the microwave.

Use small setting and add a couple oz. of milk and some marshmallows at the bottom (before brewing), it could be the best hot chocolate of all time. Not chalky taste like cafe expression version, either way it is better if you make it the regular way or the way suggested above. If you don't agree with this post, then you're taste buds are on drugs.

I brewed this k-cup two times and was dissapointed with both results. The second time I realized that there was actually cocoa mix left in the k-cup so here I go digging with a spoon. As I stand irritated I am digging through the pantry trying to see what the expiration is on the box (I know, it is printed on the cup but when irritated the brain does not work as it should). Then I read something, "SHAKE WELL". I never bothered reading the box for my k-cups because well it's a k-cup and I have had a keurig for three years. But yes you must shake well, I even tap it on my opposite hand like tapping the ketchup out of the bottle (yes I just dated myself tapping glass Heinz bottles). So I grab another mug and brew a cup after I had a shake. YAY ME!!! That cup was exactly what Swiss Miss should taste like. Turns out when actually reading directions not only does the swiss miss say to shake but, the cafe escapes, and hot apple cider say to shake well (I kind of crush in the cider until the powder is loose). Thought I would share this data with some of you guys who think it is watery, may just be the cocoa is not realeasing from the k-cup entirely. I mean if I can miss that small instruction then perhaps someone else might be too. PS: I have the Platinum and brew on the second to smallest size.

Had an allergic reaction to this product and couldn't figure out why since I have been drinking this brand since I was a child and I am now 33. Had hives the first day I drank it and couldn't figure out why, drank it a second time and ended up at my doctor's office with a prescription for an epi pen. Splenda is no joke. Take it off the market and stop using it in your products!

I have tried other hot chocolates with the Keurig and was not impressed. Swiss Miss had a regular cup of hot chocolate tase without the weird, fake, chalky after effect. Really enjoyed it. Thinking of throwing out the leftovers from what i had before cause I know I won't drink it!

I can't use these with my Keurig 2.0. It will start the brew after I have selected the Hot Cocoa/other option. . .then a few seconds later it shows up with "water under pressure. . ." So whoever else is having this issue . . .you aren't the only one! I have tried countless times to get it to work. It does the same thing. My coffee and tea work just fine.
