Artificial sweetener, artificial flavor

I got the Swiss Miss cups with my Keurig 2.0, and I'm sad to say that I really disliked them. I usually love Swiss Miss cocoa, and at first thought it was just that I usually make mine with milk. But the aftertaste was terrible, and so I only drank a couple of cups. When I took a closer look at the packaging, I realized that while these do contain corn syrup and real sugar, they also contain sucralose, an artificial sweetener that I personally avoid because it is a migraine trigger. It is the last ingredient on the list, so probably just contains a very small quantity, but that begs the question, why add it in the first place? I'd much rather have normal Swiss Miss mix that doesn't have the artificial garbage in it, and the caloric difference couldn't be that great. I guarantee the flavor would be much improved.

No mini marshmellows..hmmmm!!!

I have used Swiss Miss now both in the Keurig as well as the packets you add hot water to. Being as you add water either way they will be watery, so I was not surprised by this. So my comment would apply to both in general not as a "con" issue. I add powdered creamer or regular cream and my problem is solved. There is always the option of making the milk or cream type of hot cocoa. For a nice and quick cup of cocoa this one is great. I would recommend to anyone looking for this type of product.

Yuck!

I have used this brand of hot cocoa for years and was very disappointed with it in the K-cup. I tried making it in an 11 oz first and it was too watery, so I tried a 6 oz size and it was just as bad. I will stick to the cocoa packets that I love! I hope Swiss Miss improves the k-cups.

Stevia taste and reaction

Just ran my first pod through and immediately knew it wasn't just sugar in the mix. I noticed it right away that it had that artificial sweetener taste to it, but figured I'd drink it anyway since it wasn't a "no sugar" mix and thought it was because it was a pod. Big mistake! 4.5 hours later, I'm still dealing with a raging headache, just like the kind I get from Aspartame and Stevia and all other artificial sweeteners. So, I pull out the box and find "Steviol Clycosides" in the ingredients. What a waste of money because I can drink none of it!

Probably quite good, if the K-Cup didn't fail

Seems like a tasteful product, but of a 24 pack, the first 2 K-Cups failed mid brew (4 oz). None of a dozen other brand pods do this, just SWISS MISS. Unable to continue, must open pod, manually stir into extra 4oz of hot water - which leaves the result diluted and tepid. If remaining 22 pods fail, I can't recommend it.

Disappointing, Too Sweet

I just bought my first box of Swiss Miss Hot Cocoa for my Keurig. I found it to be extremely sweet. When I looked at the ingredients, I was shocked that it not only had sugar but corn syrup and sucralose as well. Sucralose is the last item on the list and this is not packaged as a diet item so I assumed that this product did not have any artificial sweeteners in it. I am very sensitive to these sweeteners and suffer from migraines. I am very disappointed with this product and will have to give the rest of these K-cups away.

Artificially Sweetened. Yuck.

The aroma was so pleasant. But then I tasted it and immediately knew it had an artificial sweetener. A really nasty aftertaste as well. What is the point of that? Let us add our own real sugar. Even adding marshmallows didn't make it better. What a waste of money. I cannot recommend this.

This tastes horrible :(

I was so excited for it but it tasted awful, the aftertaste of stevia or some other sweetener, it's too watery and has no chocolate flavor, more of artificial vanilla and a bunch of sweetener. It's really sad I wasted money and have to get rid of it now

Best tasting hot chocolate

In our area this product is very hard to find. That is a shame. The other hot chocolates we tried were watery and just didn't have that great of chocolate flavor. When it comes to hot chocolate you can not beat Swiss Miss. Hopefully this product will be made more available.

add some 1/2 and 1/2

Add some cream to this and it is a quick, tasty cup of hot chocolate. I also keep a ketchup squirt bottle of sweetened condensed milk in the fridge and if I want something really sweet and rich tasting, I dribble some of that in it. I keep a supply of this - especially good during cold weather.
