Less then a year old

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product last summer due to our old player dying. Within the first couple months it started showing huge lag and trouble staying connected to the internet. There is nothing wrong with my internet when using the cell or computer-it is the blu ray player. There have been numerous times the interface lags tremendously, trying to load a show and the loading circle stuck on 99% or 1%, or shows cutting off. All where I have to restart the player at least once to get working again. I regret not keeping a receipt and looking at reviews for this product before buying. Not happy at all with this product.

freezes and hang-ups -> will be returned tomorrow

bought the player some days ago and all attempts at making internet apps work proved futile: vtuner: complete hang up (has to be resolved by leaving the player unplugged for quite some time); youtube: crash a few minutes into playing a vid. and so on and so forth. the dvd I tried led to a crash too and only the third attempt worked. playing from a usb hdd stalled or froze the player for several minutes, then resulting in a restart. I had run the latest fw update first thing upon reception - either the firmware is faulty or the player is defective in some way. also with the crashes the player loses all settings made so far and has to be set up completely again (entering the wlan password via the remote is not funny if you have to do it more than 10 times in a row...). a shame, really - playing discs is almost silent and picture quality is good as well. as I purchased the bp350 to add internet/network capability to my "not smart" lcd-tv this is a no-buy for me. unfortunately. I had quite good experiences with the bp420 a family member owned, but hoped that the new bp350 would add some more features (apart from the obvious wifi). the only feature I found, however, were crashes. I will check out the "old" bp620 now (because of the additional rca-jacks for audio and the better remote), if that device does not work, as well, I'll chose a player from another manufacturer. you can do better, lg. please do.

Horrible

This is the biggest waste of money ever. The software needs updating, it freezes up constantly and the only fix is to unplug it and plug it back in. Sometimes you have to do that several times. The streaming apps hardly ever work, in fact Netflix is the only app I have gotten to work and it has a lot of trouble. I literally have nothing good to say about it.

Great Buy for its Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It may come off as secondary gadget, but it really does wonders, with BluRay selling the packages with HD videos and Regular videos, the blu ray disc wins in higher coloration on the television, in essence: movies looks way better in BR disc. Also, the Streaming comes off very close to that of BR quality. Not sure if that is dependent on the DSL connection... I'm at 75Mbps.

Greatp performance, great price !

This LG blu ray player upscales regular DVDs to blue ray, plays regular blu ray discs beautifully, and has wi-fi capability to stream Netflix, Hulu, Google Play apps, Vudu, and others. The interface and menus are easy to navigate. The tray opens quickly and discs load fast. The quality of the sound is amazing. The included remote includes a battery. I compared this side by side with my Sony BP6700 4k upscaling blu ray player and I could not tell a difference between the two. And the Sony player is double the price. The player connected easily to my wireless home network and has never dropped a signal. I've very happy with my purchase. You will be too.

Great device. Does a lot for the size.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this device for a few months now and are quite pleased. The operation is smooth and the internet connection is easy and works great. The wireless interphase works all through the house with all devices on the network. Thank you LG for another wonderful device!

Starting to get annoying

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had for 2 months so far. Picture quality is great, happy with the features. Wasn't happy that it did NOT come with everything to hook it up so that was another trip back to the store for an HDMI cable but in fairness it does tell you that on the box. Installed quick and easy. My complaint is that it drops internet a lot making the whole machine freeze up forcing you to unplug the power.

Verified Purchase

This is an average DVD Blue Ray player that is not with the current technology. It only have one HDMI port and for people with experience with technology this device is not with the current times. This is an entry level product for someone without installation experience or a supplier. This product does not have the capability of adding a diversity of channels. The operating system is locked.
