If you just want to use DVD and USB it will nag

It nags you to connect Internet even if you don't want to connect. It keeps on popping up telling you your not connected. I don't want to connect. Got other stuff for that.

Not user friendly

Bought it to put Hulu into it. Box said it was included get it home Hulu is not on it no App Store on it and no way to download. None of the guides available are able to provide accurate information on how to download. Will be tossing this In the garbage. Waste of money.

I'm a little disappointed in the software. If the BP350 is not set for the Quick Start or Fast On option it will not remember the log in to the WIFI network. causing you to have to re-enter it. Secondly, when watching a movie on the USB, flashdrive, if you "Stop" and quit, it does not remember where you left off. You have to fast forward from the beginning all over again. It does remember when you stop a DVD or blueray disk. The software is not intuitive. Overall I give it 3 stars for average.

Obsolete Features Out of the Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this player as it had wifi and the streaming services I use and wanted to connect it to my older LG tv. I was able to access Hulu for about two weeks before I was no longer able to use it. Among other things, Prime and Netflixs do not stream consistently and more often then not, my player will freeze in which I have to unplug and restart when I attempt to use either of those apps. I can however watch movies from my VUDU app and have yet to have any issues there. I have not had an issue with the player either and I can play Blu Ray and DVD's just fine. This is NOT what I expect from an LG product as I have purchase several different products from phones, tv's disc drives etc. I expect a certainly quality when I look at LG which is why I can always justify the price when I buy it. I felt this was a massive miss from them and am pretty disappointed with this product and its lack of abilities.

Disappointed

I bought this player four months ago to add smart features to my non-smart tv. I am reluctant to say that it has been disappointing. I use Netflix and Pandora and have experienced frequent loss of wi-fi connection, on an otherwise stable home network. This loss happens more frequently while Pandora buffers a new set of songs. I have tried streaming music from my other two computers in the home and it is sluggish making a connection and in response time, but does work. And like others, I resolve my screen freeze/locking up issue by pulling the power cable which thankfully is easily available and not buried inside an entertainment center. LG needs to work more diligently to resolve these issues. SW Version BD23.958.50908.c reported as up-to-date. Recommended with caution to shop around.

Garbage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plays disks great but streaming services suck. I'm one room away from my router and it drops the internet connection constantly forcing me to unplug it. It's basically useless as a streaming device. Wish I had returned it!

Terrible wifi. Terrible remote

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Set up is painful, it has to be the slowest and most dimwitted menu I've ever come across. Wifi doesn't work ever (Tell a lie it's connected once) it'll either ask to put my password in and then not connect or just not find any routers at all (No option to hardwire either) A quick internet search shows this to be a very common fault, if this is an insight to what other LG products are like then im never buying anything of theirs again. I'd give no stars if it was possible

Wi-Fi is horrible

Plays blue Rays, DVDs and CDs. Has cool features, one that sold me, apart from the obvious, was the Wi-Fi network streaming capability. I have Netflix, vudu and thought 3 birds one stone. The streaming skips horribly. The first 20 mins of Netflix (every episode) skips really bad. I have quantum fios through Verizon, there fastest best internet out there and it skips. So it has to be the LG, it's the only thing that does it. My chromecast works perfect gaming consoles streams perfect. Gonna be taking it back today for an exchange. Hoping I just got a dud, and don't have to go back for a refund!!!
