Once installed and setup, easy to use and to view videos on my laptop. Had to purchase a high endurance microSD card. Also purchased a Garmin suction swivel mount to replace the adhesive mount. Mounted at upper corner of wind shield on passenger side and hid cable in A pillar moulding and routed under dash to 12 volt outlet. Problem formating the SD card but received immediate help by phone from Garmin. Excellent instruction manual online.

I bought this for long drives from Texas to Chicago, and it’s been a solid choice so far. It’s really small and doesn’t block my view, which I like. The video quality is clear enough to capture details, and it starts recording automatically, so I don’t have to think about it. It feels like a good, affordable option if you want extra safety on road trips without anything bulky.

My 8 year old dashcam battery just gave out rendering the unit pretty much unusable and even dangerous. It was a 1080 model and low tech by today’s standards. So I bought a higher end unit that was 4K and lots of new tech. The problem is it would overheat. Then threw SD card errors. I live in Florida. So I had to return it. Second time around I decided to try something more bulletproof and AI recommended this unit. I wanted heat resistant, tiny and good pic quality but not necessarily above 1080. I didn’t need a screen either and actually prefer the screen off even when a unit has a screen. So I bought this unit and installed it in 10 minutes and so far it’s great. Hidden behind the mirror and very subtle. This is the dashcam for people who feel they need one but basically don’t want to fidget with a lot of settings and don’t want something distracting them from the road by being large and lit up. This is the stealth option and perfect for me because I don’t need super high video quality or gps etc. I do need durability and ease of use.

Installation Is Hard On My Model Of Vehicle Because You Have To Run A Power Cord Under The Trim Panels To Get To The Cigarette Lighter/ Power Supply To Use The Dashcam. Video Is Good Enough To Use In Court Nothing Like A Movie Camera Though. Also It's Absolutely Tiny You Would Never Know It's Even There When You Place It Behind Your Rearview Mirror. Would Recommend You Buy This If You Don't Want A Clunky Large Dashcam!

This camera is really nice. It is so small I thought it wouldn't work for me, but it does. Very easy to install. The hardest part is running the cable. So far I'm very happy with it. Highly recommended.

The Mini 3 works well and does a great job at being invisoble behind the tinted strip at the top of my windshield. heads up, my phone can't connect to it if it's connected to the car via Bluetooth so I have to "forget" my car or pull the SD card out to access the files.

I couldn’t connect to it with my phone to live stream and there was no screen. So I couldn’t tell what is it was recording if it was bumped. I even tried lowering the resolution. I will be trying to return it if I can get to Walmart before 8pm. Return hours should be same as the store! Who else does that?

It did not come with a sim card (I didn't find out until I opened the package and read the extremely small print on the alleged instructions document). I have no way to test the product to see if it tries to work. There is a document showing a round disk that apparently shoud be put on the window to hold the Dash Cam so I could dismount the dash cam and take pictures of any damage done to my car. I need to speak someone in the store to help me figure out how to get the missing parts

I've owned this for a month now, and still cannot connect to it on my smart phone (iphone 16). I have tried everything and the closest I get is it showing video thumbnails, but, of course, they will not play as connectivity is not there. I bought this to replace a Vofio based on the small size. But small size is no good if it cannot connect. Yes, I can remove the card and view on a computer, but the mount is so senstive, you are never sure of the angle of capture as you really need to see what is being recorded with the card in. Garmin is a known brand, but they offer a low-quality product in this instance.
