My 8 year old dashcam battery just gave out rendering the unit pretty much unusable and even dangerous. It was a 1080 model and low tech by today's standards. So I bought a higher end unit that was 4K and lots of new tech. The problem is it would overheat. Then threw SD card errors. I live in Florida. So I had to return it. Second time around I decided to try something more bulletproof and AI recommended this unit. I wanted heat resistant, tiny and good pic quality but not necessarily above 1080. I didn't need a screen either and actually prefer the screen off even when a unit has a screen. So I bought this unit and installed it in 10 minutes and so far it's great. Hidden behind the mirror and very subtle. This is the dashcam for people who feel they need one but basically don't want to fidget with a lot of settings and don't want something distracting them from the road by being large and lit up. This is the stealth option and perfect for me because I don't need super high video quality or gps etc. I do need durability and ease of use.

I bought this for long drives from Texas to Chicago, and it's been a solid choice so far. It's really small and doesn't block my view, which I like. The video quality is clear enough to capture details, and it starts recording automatically, so I don't have to think about it. It feels like a good, affordable option if you want extra safety on road trips without anything bulky.

This camera is really nice. It is so small I thought it wouldn't work for me, but it does. Very easy to install. The hardest part is running the cable. So far I'm very happy with it. Highly recommended.

Installation Is Hard On My Model Of Vehicle Because You Have To Run A Power Cord Under The Trim Panels To Get To The Cigarette Lighter/ Power Supply To Use The Dashcam. Video Is Good Enough To Use In Court Nothing Like A Movie Camera Though. Also It's Absolutely Tiny You Would Never Know It's Even There When You Place It Behind Your Rearview Mirror. Would Recommend You Buy This If You Don't Want A Clunky Large Dashcam!

This is my second mini for a second car installation. First one has been in the other car for 5 years with no issues at all. I like the fact that it's tiny and inconspicuous. I don't need a screen on the camera because you can watch and transfer the video using the Garmin app. Good value for the money.

Easy to install, and it automatically syncs if you have multiple cameras. But the app is horrible. It frequently disconnects, fights between Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (causing delays in accessing video,) and is simply slow/buggy overall.

Fairly easy to install. Does not come with an SD card. Don’t like the permanent stick on holder. Bought a suction cup holder an extra $25.00 ridiculous. This dash cam does not mesh well with the app. As a matter of fact only one time out of multiple times. Live view happened once or twice after asking multiple times to connect to cam. As far as reviewing footage forget about it. I ordered a USB drive adapter with a micro SD card input for my iMac. Supposedly I’ll be able to review it there. As per you tube I tried connecting it directly to my iPhone and tried to download to folder app. No luck ! If the adapter doesn’t work then I’m returning everything. It’s not worth the money.

I've owned this for a month now, and still cannot connect to it on my smart phone (iphone 16). I have tried everything and the closest I get is it showing video thumbnails, but, of course, they will not play as connectivity is not there. I bought this to replace a Vofio based on the small size. But small size is no good if it cannot connect. Yes, I can remove the card and view on a computer, but the mount is so senstive, you are never sure of the angle of capture as you really need to see what is being recorded with the card in. Garmin is a known brand, but they offer a low-quality product in this instance.

Was never able to download a saved video to my iPhone. Would never connect to the dash cam wi-fi. Absolutely no value at all without being able offload videos to a playable device. Want to send this back.
