This is my first dash cam but I had been watching YouTube reviews for about a year. I didn't want to damage my car or cut into any wires so that made me hesitant. However, other drivers are so terrible these days I instantly made up my mind when I watched a lady wait in this drive way for me to get close enough for her to pull out at the last second almost causing me to T-bone her. She didn't wave sorry or even acknowledge she was in the wrong. She could clearly see me coming down the road plus I was the only vehicle driving in that direction so she could have just simply waited for me to pass and she could have took as long as she wanted. The camera installed in 10 minutes in my Jeep and it was a simple plug and play. Great camera to start out with especially for the price. Make sure you get a micro SD card if you don't have one already and you're all set. I may buy another one in the near future for my other vehicle. I like the mounting options as well as you can order a suction cup mount or use the self adhesive for a permanent install.

I actually like this Garmin dash cam and you can't beat the price. I can tell it to save a video or mute the sound and I can delete the videos right on my phone while I'm in the car.

Once installed and setup, easy to use and to view videos on my laptop. Had to purchase a high endurance microSD card. Also purchased a Garmin suction swivel mount to replace the adhesive mount. Mounted at upper corner of wind shield on passenger side and hid cable in A pillar moulding and routed under dash to 12 volt outlet. Problem formating the SD card but received immediate help by phone from Garmin. Excellent instruction manual online.

Installation Is Hard On My Model Of Vehicle Because You Have To Run A Power Cord Under The Trim Panels To Get To The Cigarette Lighter/ Power Supply To Use The Dashcam. Video Is Good Enough To Use In Court Nothing Like A Movie Camera Though. Also It's Absolutely Tiny You Would Never Know It's Even There When You Place It Behind Your Rearview Mirror. Would Recommend You Buy This If You Don't Want A Clunky Large Dashcam!

Really good video quality! The only problem I'm having with it is it not sticking correctly. It will stay up for a couple hours and I'll find it on the floor of my car. I did have to buy another part to keep the camera running even when my car is not turned on, but that's not really a problem.

The Mini 3 works well and does a great job at being invisoble behind the tinted strip at the top of my windshield. heads up, my phone can't connect to it if it's connected to the car via Bluetooth so I have to "forget" my car or pull the SD card out to access the files.

Got this on sale, it's good for what I got it for but it takes forever to connect to your phone if you wanna watch saved footage and when it does, the video just buffers. Your best bet is to take the sd card out and watch it.

I couldn't connect to it with my phone to live stream and there was no screen. So I couldn't tell what is it was recording if it was bumped. I even tried lowering the resolution. I will be trying to return it if I can get to Walmart before 8pm. Return hours should be same as the store! Who else does that?

It did not come with a sim card (I didn't find out until I opened the package and read the extremely small print on the alleged instructions document). I have no way to test the product to see if it tries to work. There is a document showing a round disk that apparently shoud be put on the window to hold the Dash Cam so I could dismount the dash cam and take pictures of any damage done to my car. I need to speak someone in the store to help me figure out how to get the missing parts

The quality is so low you can't read ANY plates. When you tell it to save, it only saves 15 seconds before and after so if you don't INSTANTLY press the save button. You don't keep the event. You cannot adjust this setting at ALL. Do NOT buy.
