I had a window Fridaire that was awsome and it would cool 2 rooms it had 12, ooo BTU's, this 9000 BTU can't cool my bedroom and it's noisey. I regret getting it I was going to return it and my brother said he would help me pay for it and he hasn't. I am so disappointed at this product. One can't sleep because it's too loud.

Seattle's unprecedented heat wave this summer almost did in my heat sensitive wife since our home is not air conditioned. Cooling her bedroom saved the day. The unit performed as expected. Only problem I had installing was attaching the vent hose to the window plastic vent opening and keeping it there. I finally use silver tape. Very reliable and quiet unit.

I leave it on fan just as a filter/fan.Love that! Then I cool it down a couple of degrees if needed. It is a bit noisy on high, but I freeze if it is. So I keep it on low most of the time. Will have to see how it helps the electric bill this July and August.

When we open the box it look good but it was blowing hot air not cold

Cools my entire small apartment very well and being able to move it around is a nice plus for convenience.

I bought it 4 month ago for the bedroom because I did not want to put the home AC on when other are not hot. it was easy to assemble the hole to the widow. It work very well. my room get comfortable at the temperature that fit me.

Works as designed if you don't want a window unit but it's rather noisey to have in a bedroom..It really cools off your space, I finally get use to the noise after having it for about a week...

With the hot weather I wanted something in my bedroom so I could sleep. Works great in a master bedroom. Because of the humidity the water collecting dish needs to be emptied often.

I picked this up for cooling my one car garage set up as a dog bed room & laundry room area. It has worked fine with out any drama ... Wow not much can say that in these times.

I've had this for about 6 months or longer and it works good on both cool and dehumidify. I've had a different one in the past and this one is much better
