I didn't cook these per the package directions. I cooked them on the stove top in the included barbecue sauce. I felt they tasted smoky with just a hint of brown sugar. I do feel there was too much salt for my taste. Do not let that deter you, I think most food has too much salt. I did not detect any of the coffee rub. After these cooled down they were too hard too eat. So with that said, leftovers are probably not happening. We had a few pieces left over we tossed to the dogs. A package was plenty for two people. I would buy these; Members Mark Kansas City Style Seasoned Brisket Burnt Ends again and have already recommended them to my Uncle who enjoys BBQ as much as I do. I received this product as part of a free sample program. I've never tried pre-packaged burnt ends. I found a few pieces to be a bit too fatty for my taste, BUT I'm usually not a fan of fat on meat AT ALL. The fat amount was tolerable to me. My family didn't have any aversions to the minimal fat. I LOVED the prep options and time, especially that it included air fryer temperature and times. It's definitely a time-saver and money saver compared to smoking a whole brisket on your own. I would probably buy it again since I don't personally own a smoker or grill, nor do I have the time to properly prepare it from fresh, but the leftovers weren't as tasty the next day. I feel like it could use more sauce, but mostly for the leftovers. The sauce seemed sufficient and well-flavored for the initial prep and serving. I would recommend this product to folks who enjoy brisket, but don't have the time or ability to prepare at home on their own. I served this with bourbon bbq peach baked beans and cole slaw, both homemade. Overall, I would give it 3.5 stars, but there is no option for that. WHY? It could use more sauce and leftovers were MEH.

This is a great alternative to actually buying a brisket and taking the time to smoke it. It has great taste and easy to microwave and does not come out chewy. I was actually surprised on good it tasted and it came out of my microwave and was conveniently fast.

I received the Members Mark Kansas City Style Seasoned Beef Brisket Burnt Ends as a free product promotion. My husband and I both agreed the flavor of these were fantastic. It was deliciously, smoky and had the yummy, brisket-y flavor that I love. My husband was a bit disappointed that there wasn't more fat. I, however, thought it was a great fat to meat ratio. The chunks of meat were tender and almost fell apart. It was a bit dry but likely due to how we heated it and didn't include the BBQ sauce. My kids also really loved it and they chose to enjoy it with the provided BBQ sauce that they said was really good. In my opinion, the flavor was so great, it didn't need any sauce. All in all, I would purchase this item if I had a hankering for a brisket or to include for a special occasion dinner. I would not be able to purchase it on the regular because of the price point. (I understand the cost of brisket, so not knocking Members Mark, just stating what would work for our budget)

We received the Members Mark Kansas City Style Seasoned Beef Brisket Burnt Ends as a FREE sample. We had never had burnt ends before and really didn't know what to expect. My fiancé said they were just ok but were too salty and greasy for his taste. I didn't like all the fat on them and the burnt taste overpowered the beef flavor. I heated them in the oven and thought maybe they might have been better heated in the microwave.

The meat is very good. I used an air fryer per instruction and the meat was tender and moist. I think the sauce is a bit salty though. I only uses half the sauce content. We had enough for a family of four and plenty for a second meal. The smell was nice. Overall a good experience.

Yes, there were some fatty pieces, but not enough to detract from flavor and texture. The barbecue sauce was perfect, I wanted a bottle of just the sauce. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My wife's family are KC natives, so we were intrigued to compare. We cooked them in the oven and as a few other reviewers stated, it isn't exactly when to add the sauce. We added it directly with the meat and 30 minutes later it came out bubbly! The meat had a great smoky flavor and lived up to KC barbecue on the initial look and aromatics. The sauce was a bit salty. And overall decent ingredients, not Bobby Approved. We did some quick burnt end sandwiches on sourdough bread and it was a good lunch. Not sure if this would be a regular purchase for our family but something to consider when you need something quick.

It comes with a separate package of barbecue sauce, which we mixed it in with the meat. The sauce was a great flavor. We will definitely buy this product for future dinners. This product is worth the buy for sure.

I brought these as the photo on the package looked delicious. I followed the directions for microwave. The flavor is very disappointing-it is like some type of artificial/liquid smoke was added for flavor, but the flavor was awful. They were also tough. Not at all what I expected for the price. I would not recommend this product.
