[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This detergent is great! I love the scent - Honey Lavender. It is not too overpowering and is just right! I like to use sustainable products ,and even make my own laundry soap, so I felt great about using this product that is made sustainable and still cleans powerfully. I used Tide purclean on my kids' clothes after a day of summer camp - they were filthy! - but Tide purclean removed all the dirt. I feel great about using this product for my family.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave Tide purclean a test on our regular laundry and on muslin squares stained with cooking oil, mustard, ketchup, grass and red mud (a neighborhood specialty). I tested the detergent in all water temperatures, including energy-saving cold water in which the product promises to deliver great results. I followed the label directions with one exception, I used a bit of the liquid formula to pretreat heavy stains. By pretreating, I mean using a little bit of the product applied directly to the stained area and worked in with a soft-bristle brush. I then allowed the detergent to work on the stain for fifteen minutes before tossing the stained item in with the rest of the load. In every test, Tide purclean left clothes smelling fresh and removed most soil. Without pretreating, some traces of heavy stains remained - especially those oily washed in cold water. With pretreating, the stains were removed. A little preparation and patience will prevent having to rewash clothes. The honey lavender scent is light and not overpowering. With the elimination of irritating dyes, Tide purclean can be used for those with skin sensitivity, including babies. My one complaint is the measuring cap. The lines are nearly impossible to read. I know the folks at Tide wanted a hit of classic orange, but with a clear bottle, a clear cap would have been so great. To prevent overdosing of detergent which is a waste of money and resources, I suggest using measuring spoons instead. All you need is two tablespoons for a load in a high-efficiency washer and 1/4 to 1/3 cup for a load in a standard washer. If you are looking for a high-performance bio-based detergent, Tide purclean belongs on your laundry shelf.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide Purclean detergent is a great option for enviro-friendly people. A lot of the time you have to give up the clean option when you want to go eco-friendly. This managed to get my 2 year old daughter's favorite stuffed bunny completely clean in one wash. She takes that thing everywhere so it gets pretty filthy and normally I have to wash it 2 or 3 times before its clean. I'm amazed but it's the truth. This detergent actually does its job cleaning. Also, the honey lavender scent is fantastic. Again with the eco-friendly detergent you usually don't get a good scent option but this one has a wonderful scent that's not overpowering but leaves everything smelling great. The only downsides to this that I have found are that it costs more than regular Tide, it only comes in liquid(powder would really be awesome), and it is only 65% bio based. But good for you Tide for taking that first step.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide purclean is such a life saver! My daughter has really sensitive skin so I always have to make sure to watch what I wash her clothes in. This has no dyes or fragrances so I don't have to worry about it effecting her sensitive skin. It gets my clothes so clean and smelling fresh. I received samples in exchange for my honest review.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the cleaning, however I developed blisters on my skin after washing my clothes in this product. Not sure what ingredient would cause that but I would be careful if you have sensitive skin because I typically have no issue with allergies to products.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Tide Pureclean free for an honest review of the product. If you have little kids this is the product for you. I can't believe how amazing my clothes smelt after washing them with this product! My whites are whiter and my brights seemed brighter! I was a little hesitant washing my youngest sons clothes in it due to him always breaking out when I change laundry soaps but I did and he didn't have a reaction to it at all! I love ALL Tide products but this product is one of my favorites!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how well Tide purclean works. It is refreshing that a natural detergent works so great. I can feel good about helping the environment and knowing my kids are lessential exposed to harsh chemicals. Works great on stains and smells really great too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tide purcleanâ„¢ detergent is everything I needed and more! With an infant added to my family it seems stains are becoming an everyday routine. He spits up on everything including my clothes and sheets so I'm frequently washing. Tide has provided me with the best product for the job! The scent is yummy and it leaves my laundry fresh and clean! It truly goes in for a deep clean and it is more beneficial for the environment. I tried samples of this product as a member of Crowdtap and was asked for my honest review. Tide has certainly gained itself a new customer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am regular Tide brand user and I am very appreciative of the fact that Tide has made an effort to bring product that not only cleans laundry well but also is very environment friendly. I try to make an effort towards saving planet as much as I can but I never thought laundry product would help contribute towards that. The smell is amazing, I love the honey lavender scent. I washed my gym wear and all stained clothes and everything cleaned out well. Stains removed and clothes smell nice and fresh. As far cleaning goes it still does great job. It is amazing that this is bio-based detergent and was made with 100% renewable wind power electricity. It is free of dyes, chlorine, phosphates or optical brighteners which only harm clothes in long run and us too. I received free sample to test from Tide through crowdtap sampling program. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tide seems to wash equally as well as original Tide. I love the honey lavender scent and although it still lingers on clothes post-wash, I'd like it to be a little stronger. When washing by hand, it seems to lather more than other eco friendly detergents, which was awesome! I love that it is mostly plant based and no dyes! The Eco friendly packaging is a huge plus as well!
