Great TV but...

Really love the TV, features and quality of the picture. However, I am having a problem with it turning on randomly in the night and none of the customer service tips online seem to be working. Plan to call the company soon to see if anything can be done.

Great picture with strange audio response

The picture quality is exceptional as long as your expectations for HDR are not excessive. Though little is actually broadcast with HDR compatibility, I have seen more dramatic views from other TV's with similar costs. Still, the average view is better than most units costing two or three times as much. The aggravation is in the sound. It would not work at all with my 5 year old Vizio Sound Bar so I purchased a new, highly rated Vizio Sound Bar. The sound is unpredictable, often refusing to mute the sound bar, even though the analog audio is used and set to variable. It can be a royal pain to use and the Visio Sound Bar remote must be kept close at hand.

Disappointed in Vizio

Not as well made as my original Vizio TV

Replaced our original Vizio TV that we had for almost 16 years. Sound on the new TV is not very good, required additional purchase of a sound bar. The remote is the worst remote I have ever used. Very small, buttons are not lit and no video controls on the remote. Very clunky to use when watching Netflix or Prime and need to rewind or fast forward. The SmartCast app is buggy requiring a soft reset of the TV quite often - 3 resets in the first two weeks. Bought Vizio based on previous experience, guess all good things come to an end.

Great Value for Lots of Features

Our last TV was on the way out with all kinds of issues so I started reading through reviews for a replacement. I have a 32” Vizio, that I have owned for close to 20 years that still performs admirably so when I read the reviews on this model, I was sold. Set up was easy, and after registering I also installed the app where I could use the remote from my phone. The only minor complaint I have is that the lock out feature is rudimentary. I have two preteens that already have too much screen time on other devices so to limit time on the TV I wish the lock code would work in different aspects of the features that the unit has.

Very good! Just not a huge difference from the M55

Bought this as a slight upgrade to my 2017 M55. Expected a little but more of an upgrade with the Quantum, but have to admit, there isn't too much of a difference in the picture quality. However, the few areas that are improved, are much improved. Had this TV about 3 weeks now. Not worth the upgrade as the M55-E0 was stellar already. If in the market for a TV and looking to upgrade this TV can't be beat for the price!

Wonderful value; outstanding picture

This TV is a very good value, and the picture is outstanding for the price. I like the design a lot, and it worked seamlessly out of the box with the AppleTV and the wireless here in the house. Setup was a breeze. I gather from research that presenting the color black faithfully is very difficult for TVs, and this TV has a mid-range number of zones to accomplish this; what it has works very well, and I'm not sure I'd notice any improvement were I to have a TV with more such zones. I like the picture a lot. Arrived in good shape, likely owing to the well-considered packaging. Although it makes it more handsome once it's on the wall, there's not much bezel on this TV; so, watch where you're putting your fingers when you lift it. Follow the instructions on the box flap -- big help. I mounted it to the wall in my den with a mounting kit I ordered separately. It looks great! The jacks on the back for power, HDMI, and such are all well thought out -- they don't jut directly out toward the wall but run parallel to the wall. This allows for closer mounting to the wall. If you plan to mount it to the wall, I highly recommend getting a mounting kit with a joint that allows you to pivot the top of the screen forward a bit. My kit only allows up to 8 degrees, but it makes a world of difference squelching glares and to get the full experience while reclined in the LaZBoy. I've been buying Samsung TVs for years. This is my first VIZIO. I'm very impressed so far, and I'm very happy I didn't have to pay thousands of dollars to get the picture quality this TV offers.

Awesome Television features... But....

I bought this television in May of 2020. I was hooked on the features the set offered. The picture is great. The volume is not the greatest unfortunately. You'd definitely need to hook up some additional speakers to get great sound quality. Another con is having to reset the television every time the "SmartCast" feature chooses to stop working. In fairness I haven't contacted customer support yet. But I've had to reset the television almost five times. I like Vizio televisions. But this particular one is starting to work my nerves. I'll be calling customer support soon!

Picture is great, menu system needs work

The picture on this TV is wonderful. It's clear, bright, and colorful. There are also a lot of settings to adjust the picture. The main app menu system leaves something to be desired. It's clunky, and very slow. The app organization portion is so slow it's painful, and it lacks fairly common apps like ESPN+. The app menu system should be improved.

Horrible

I have had Vizio tvs before with no issue. It was nice to have just a TV. Vizo should not be in the smart TV business. It works when it wants to turns on and off randomly. Unable to install apps. Not user friendly in the least. I really just wish I can by a standard on off TV.

Great features. Great Picture. Great TV!

My wife said "go buy a TV that has Disney +" Set up was really easy and we were knee deep in princess movies on Disney + in no time. Love the content discovery that comes with the interface and the fact that you can cast to it from a laptop really easy. Extra bonus, the picture is AMAZING!
