It does have a slightly chalky texture, like all protein shakes do, but less than premier protein does. I like that it's in a can instead of in a carton. The cans don’t take up much room in my lunchbox, and they help get me through the morning if I don’t have breakfast. I appreciate the fact that it is 30g of protein!! I’ve been trying to increase my protein levels for a couple months now, and these help tremendously. The taste is not chalky at all like some canned protein drinks are. I would definitely recommend these, and especially the vanilla flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The nurri vanilla protein shake is almost perfection. It has a wonderful thin skim milk texture and consistency. It tastes like a vanilla milkshake.; Creamy, sweet and no gross aftertaste. There is no chalkiness either. Amazing nutritional profile and protein content at 30G. It is also good for a grab and go when in a hurry. I love to have products like this on hand at all times for busy days. Unfortunately, I removed two stars for the use of artificial sweeteners; sucralose and acesulfame potassium. There have been many studies showing links to artificial sweeteners and health issues. When choosing protein drink as a consumer, the first thing I look for is what sweetener is used. If it is artificial, I will do my research into the ingredient and generally will always pass. These drinks taste absolutely AMAZING, but I would not purchase them in the future due to the sweeteners. I would prefer cane sugar be used, something that has been around for millennia. If artificial sweeteners don’t bother you, I think you will love the taste of these.

But I just went and bought myself some with my own money because it not inky tastes great but there’s no aftertaste and it’s not gloopy and thick! To be honest this really surprised me and in a good way! Even my husband said it’s not what he was expecting and he hates anything protein. It’s a great way to substitute regular milk for more protein because it doesn’t feel like you’re drinking protein!

I haven't seen protein drinks come in a can before and the can itself was aesthetically pleasing. I also thought that 30 grams of protein for 150 calories was a good protein to calorie ratio. The drink itself was a lot thinner than traditional protein shakes and I didn't feel any powdery chunks which was definitely a win! Unfortunately, I just didn't care for the taste. I felt like the vanilla flavor was too artificial tasting. I also found it overly sweet. I did try adding it to my coffee, but I felt like it was too thin to act as a sufficient creamer. Tastewise the drink was way better in coffee than by itself. Overall, the product was just okay in my opinion.

It is not gritty like some protein products. Packaging is appealing. I usually have protein shakes between meals, and this helped to keep me satisfied for longer than I expected. Overall, great flavor and great product!

I like the convenience of them being in a can, but feel like the title of “milkshake” can be a bit misleading. I feel like the vanilla is not very strong and tastes like your average glass of milk rather than a milkshake.
