I wish I had taken a picture. I purchased two of these this year. Each box says that it has 6 roots. The first box I bought got damaged at my house (blew off the outside table during a storm.) When I found it in the yard, the bag was open and only three roots were inside. Although the contents looked intact, and I didn't see any of them anywhere, I assumed some of them were lost. I planted those and they all came up nicely. I decided to purchase another box and got the last one at my club. I brought it home and put it inside, waiting to plant until after the cold snap. I opened it yesterday and guess what…only 3 roots again. So three stars for roots that came up, but minus two stars for deceptive packaging. $5 apiece is more than I would have paid. I could have bought live plants for that.

We bought the butterfly bush blue and weigela deep pink. In the store one was just twigs and I guess I was hoping it had good roots. It looks absolutely pitiful out of the package. We shall see if it does anything. I potted it to get a head start for when we do plant it in the yard. The deep pink bush is great but not the blue one.

I purchased and planted the Members Mark Aquilegia. There were 10 roots in the package and I planted them all in a circle around a statuary in my garden. Unfortunately, only 3 of the 10 are viable. Kind of a low percentage.

I took the seedlings out of the box and planted inside to get an early start BUT 1 of them isn’t doing anything while the other is growing great!

I was so happy to find affordable perennials ;is not that simple … one of the 3 boxes purchased had dead/dried out roots . I didn’t have enough energy to take them back … Just put them in the ground and hope that Mother Nature will make some magics …. More likely passed that chance but the ideia is “Luck”

Don't waste your money on this garbage. You will get tiny, tiny roots or some dead, some missing. My box is supposed to have 6, and it only had 5. It sounds like a bargain on the box, but if they actually grow, it will take 3 to 5 years before you get a good-sized plant that is the same size as a live plant at the garden center. Yes, it may cost you twice per plant, but it will look good in your garden now and not be a maybe in 3 to 4 years.

I purchased a few boxes last year and three boxes this year. Some of the plants came up last year. None came up this year. I'm not wasting my money on these next year.

I bought a box of 3 Clematis vines. Only 1 out of the 3 plants is alive.

I bought them in the store. Opened them two weeks later to plant and could not find any roots in the bag!

I planted according to directions, but nothing happened. There are 2 sticks in the ground. This is the second year this has happened.
