As an amateur baker, I never buy the knock off brand of cream cheese. You don't get the creaminess from those other guys. From the way it creams to the overall taste, you can't beat Philadelphia brand cream cheese. So versatile!

In the last 10 years Philadelphia cream cheese has sadly taken a turn for the worse. It used to be my go to, now I often skip, it's too soft and doesn't firm up like it used to.
