Great TV

I bought this for the kitchen. The picture is brilliant. Paired with the new Sonos Atmos beam and you have a tremendous small theater! Hardly makes me want to leave to the home theater. You cannot beat this for great value and a great picture.

The picture is not as sharp & colorful as expected

I've seen this TV at stores and the picture was bright with extraordinary vivid color. The one I ordered on line fell way short of expectations regarding color and sharpness quality.

Hello Pam47, at VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. Sites like CNet, RTings, and Reviewed.com consistently rate VIZIOs picture quality among the best in the industry. To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos.
