Yes, Charmin, I did notice. I have been buying the 12 roll Ultra Strong Mega roll ever since it came out. Recently I noticed the rolls are 1/4" smaller than they used to be (used to be 4 1/4", now just 4"). This translates to a loss of 3/4 of a roll per 12 pack. I am very dissapointed that they have yet again shrunk the product in order to increase their profit margin.

Ultra Strong was a great idea when introduced. But recently, the product has become soft and mushy like all the rest. What is this obsession the industry has with soft, flimsy, fragile, mushy tissue? Am I the only one whose fingers go thru the paper, and find a lot of peices of paper left on my body????!!!!

In the recent past, Charmin has reduced the width of the roll significantly and the new smaller size not only does not work as well, but looks really silly in bathroom fixtures that have not shrunk. Please restore the full-width "standard" rolls, even if it has to be relabeled and/or cost more. The product remains superior, but this new packaging will force me to consider a brand I do not like as well if its rolls are full width. Full size rolls get all five stars.

This is the first time I have actually ever written a review. But I dislike this product so much I felt like I had to. I generally buy the ultra soft Charmin which I love !! I thought I would give this option a chance so I purchased this for the first time this week. The ultra strong is very different from the ultra soft. This toilet paper is not soft!!! The toilet paper is also much narrower in width than the ultra soft. I would not buy this choice ever again !!! I wish that I could return it !!!!!

I have been married for 49 years and always used your toilet paper but since you went a narrower roll and it looks horrible on the toilet roll fixture I will not use it any more. I would love the option to either pay more or buy a smaller roll that has the right width.

Charmin, you have ruined your product. I am sure that you know your new and unimproved toilet paper is intentionally of much lower quality, I just can't believe that I am actually so angry with Charmin for doing this that I am taking the time to e-mail you and to enter this review. I am now trying other brands to find a replacement that meets my needs. What a pain. Be sure and contact me if you ever come to your senses and restore the product quality, I would be happy to be your customer again if you do.

I love how strong this paper is. Holds up through the tough "nose-blowing" for the kids, but when actually using it for wiping for each bathroom trip, I've found it leaving a considerable amount of lint behind. It makes you have to shower off (since we don't have a bidet) just to get all the pieces off. :(

The size of the paper isn't much bigger than register tape. As a long time customer of CHARMIN i will not buy this product ever again. Your ad say's use less, but by cutting the width by 3/4 of an inch, you should correct your ad telling the potential buyer they will have to use more. not only was it much narrower, it cost more. I ma very disappointed with what you have done. I will no longer buy any of your products

I picked up a pack of the small rolls, a package with 24 rolls. Didn't notice until I got home the packaging claimed to be the double roll, (24=48) which it was not (I buy the double rolls as well for master bathroom; and small rolls are for our two guest bathrooms). Anyway the first roll I put on dispenser had NO perferated lines so everytime you try to tear this wonderful soft TP it runs the roll. You have to grab one end and tear with other hand, making a strip to seperate it from the role. 24 rolls of this?? Sad to say, yes. Check your set up. See whats wrong...what happened.

While I still recommend this product, I feel there is something wrong. I recently purchased a package of the ultra strong and it is different than the previous package. The quality has gone down! I still have a roll of the "good stuff" from a camping trip we went on and the new product is far from equal. I am not sure why we are still being charged the same price for this newre version, but it is far from what it used to be. I feel a bit cheated. :(
