I purchased this Venu 3S as an upgrade for my 2+ year old Venu Sq. It is amazing how much better the Venu 3 performs! GPS picks right up, no waiting around. Accuracy is good based on my usual route. So many new features that I haven't gotten to them all yet. Best new feature for me so far is the sleep score. Watch is sleek and comfortable. AMOLED screen is beautiful and easy to see even in bright sunlight. I'm thrilled with this purchase and would definitely recommend this watch, although the 3S might be a little small for a man's wrist. Fits me perfectly though.

I bought this watch because I was in need of replacing my old one but was sold on this watch because of all the great features. Specifically, the HRV status. My dad has AFib and it is hereditary and that was the top selling feature for me. It has some great features including the motivation to get up and get moving and a daily inspiration to make it a great day. Lots of in-depth details on sleep, activities, naps, etc. Affordable watch with numerous features.

I bought this last week and absolutely love all the features it includes. I’m so eager to learning more and more about the features including- sleep, stress, ECG, exercise, naps, and many many more. If you don’t already I advise you getting one it’s 1000% worth the money for everything included in the app!

I bought this watch for a total of 4 days before returning. I had an Apple Watch for maybe 6-8 years so I am used to the features. I felt the garmin Venu 3s was not as comfortable as the Apple Watch. The band felt very cheap and I can see how they are prone to breaking. The find my phone application just shows how far away you are from your phone, however I couldn’t get it to ping which is very important to me. I was EXTREMELY disappointed by the other workout features like lifting and indoor rowing. I take a medicine to lower my HR so it’s very hard to get it elevated with workouts other than running. I did a rowing exercise for 30 min and it only counted 7. Then I lifted upper body for 30 min and it only counted as 3 min. I use those active minutes for a variety of apps including my insurance and I have to meet a quota of active minutes. With a torn hip labrum, I can’t run every day. I had no issues with Apple meeting these quotas. Also the lifting one was very confusing to use and did not seem accurate at all. Now to running, I actually didn’t hate the running portion. I hit the same mile markers I did for my Apple. I appreciate how quickly the garmin adjusted my pace when I was doing intervals. I did not like that the pace only showed 5 second increments though. Overall, it was pretty good if all you do is run with the watch! The battery life was amazing and definitely way better compared to Apple. If you are running ultras or are a super slow marathon runner, this watch may be worth it! I personally don’t mind charging my watch daily if needed. The sleep portion is completely inaccurate. I use an oura ring and it seems very accurate. I can match the time I go to sleep and wake up to compare what the oura says. Same if I was to wake up in the middle of the night and check my phone my oura knows I’m up. The garmin will sense that you are “sleeping” even if you’re scrolling on your phone for an hour. To me, that’s not accurate. It doesn’t get the naps accurately either. I wouldn’t use this to track sleep at all. Overall, this watch wasn’t worth it to me but I can see how some aspects are worth it to others! Maybe I needed a different garmin watch to meet my needs but I really liked the look of the Venu 3s. My husband also bought the Venu 3 at the same time I did and he returned his as well. Of note, he is a lifter and not a runner if that means anything! Do your own research but these were my pros and cons :)

I recently made the switch to garmin and I could not be more ecstatic that I finally pulled the trigger!! The Venu 3S is the absolute best smart watch on the market!! It has anything and everything you could possibly need & want in a smart watch! I HIGHLY recommend this watch to everyone!! A+++

Fun features but phone App control is just another app to log in to and manage. Wish instructions for watch and the control features for things like volume were more easily accessible from the get go. The face scratches easily and Bluetooth connection makes the battery go down quickly. I can maybe get 2 or 3 days with Bluetooth and updates on. Wish garmin was clearer on capabilities and what devices work with specific products and that they wouldn’t charge for apps.

I've had the watch for a couple of months now, works as advertised and has been a really good investment. Mostly got it for the heart rate monitor, but have found I like many of the other functions, and am still discovering more regularly! I went with the smaller version because I have pretty small wrists for a dude, and the 44mm would have looked like a sundial on my wrist.

I have never had a smartwatch before and buying one is a big monetary and emotional purchase! As an accessory to wear ever day, I did a lot of research. Not to mention, my endocrinologist suggested Garmin as a good brand to monitor my health. Some people complain that the three right buttons feel sticky, and while they don't necessarily "click", I have found that I prefer that they don't. I use my watch when I work out and I am always paranoid that I'll accidentally push the buttons and they'll mess with the current screen. However, I don't have to worry about that! This watch monitors everything I could want it to, and my Apple Watch-wearing boyfriend thinks that the screen on my Venu 3 is crisper. Love love love my Venu 3S! I have had a Fitbit for nearly 20 years and the product has gone so much so I decided to try Garmin Venu 3S for about a month now. No issues so far and I am still learning all the features. I do wish there were Disney watch faces that didn’t cost additional $.

For what it cost, it could be better. Voice assistant is nice but doesn't always connect/work. It hasn't detected a to nap yet. It does seem to track my steps, GPS, and heart rate during cardio well. Battery last 5 days with pulse ox on during sleep. I suggest going with vivoactive 5 if you don't need voice assistant/mic.
