Better than Apple

I bought this watch to replace my Apple Watch because of the battery dying and the activity reports being inferior. I love that the garmin has better activity tracking and more detailed features. I wish the garmin activity connected with apple health to share with my friends. The only other thing I would change is the fact that my alarms don’t sync with my phone alarms so I cannot silence them from my watch like I could on my Apple Watch.

Completely worthless piece of crap !

It does not recognize most of my day naps and sleeps. It sometimes misses to even know about night sleep too. It has ghost steps that I realized when I wake up with some 50 or 70 steps. I think hardware at about 90% off the cost would do better job.

Great watch!

I have had a Fitbit for nearly 20 years and the product has gone so much so I decided to try Garmin Venu 3S for about a month now. No issues so far and I am still learning all the features. I do wish there were Disney watch faces that didn’t cost additional $.

Beautiful watch

I really love this watch. Easy to use, the face is beautiful and the apps and features are amazing. I am returning due to lack of being able to upload maps (I didn't know it wasn't offered on this device and trail run often). If you dont need maps but you're looking for a wonderful piece of wellness tech.

Awesome Upgrade!

I have the Venu Sq and really liked it, but I was missing out on new features like being able to talk and text through my watch. So, I thought about buying the Venu 3S for quite a while. I wish I didn't wait so long because the Venu 3S is fabulous! Not only can I talk and text through it, but I can keep track of my heart rhythm. I thought it would be too big for my wrist, but surprisingly it isn't. I really like that they kept the "Face-It" so I have my grandson's picture on it. I'm still getting used to all the features and we're they are located, but I am very happy with it.

Mixed feelings

Let me get the bad out of the way first. I simply don’t want to have to manage multiple apps. I don’t want to be told I have to even install one on my computer to actually update certain features or download or purchase some items. Improve the user experience please. Aside from that? The good: basically everything else. You’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. Everything functions intuitively and well.

Even Better Than Expected

In two weeks I’m more motivated than I’ve been in years. There are more features than I’ll ever use. But there are more features I use than ever before. I’ve been wearing a FitBit Sense for nearly three years and I’ve barely used anything other than its watch, SpO2 tracker, smart alarm, move alert, and sleep features. Perhaps because it seemed gimmicky, in spite of its accuracy. And I’ve never felt the desire to figure out and use the other available features. But it seems that my Garmin Venu 3S has added features that compliment the ones I was using on the Sense and its formatting is appealing to me. It challenges me to improve by giving me more detailed explanations and breakdowns of stats. I love the user interface, ConnectIQ, Red Shift, Body Battery, Glances, and too many other things to list. So much of what it offers is a benefit for me and I love the way it looks. I bought the Garmin Index S2 shortly after and I love the added features it brings and the integration with my Venu 3S. I’m taking my older smart scale that merely tracked weight and doesn’t sync to Garmin to my sister’s house for my long visits there. The only feature it lacks is a smart alarm. And because of that, I still wear my Sense to bed for that feature. It’s also enabled me to compare the two devices for accuracy with their SpO2 and sleep tracking. The SpO2 is always within 1%, except for the rarity of them being identical. It appears the Venu could be more sensitive with its newer sensors and tends to put more time sleeping into REM, where the Sense puts it into deep. The Sense puts more into awake, where the Garmin does light sleep. I have also compared the Venu 3S to a finger Pulse Oximeter and they run extremely close, and even more so over a timeline. I love my Venu 3S so much, I’ve even bought several watch bands to dress it up and mirror my mood. I do want to caution, I read that Garmin watches don’t work as well with leather straps, especially darker ones. But I’ve been able to resolve the issue by rolling and flexing the leather bands to loosen them up so they fit properly and allow the sensors to function properly. Without doing so the readings were always very low and didn’t come close to the Sense of finger Oximeter. Overall it appears I’m now as into the Garmin pipeline as I am Apple/MAC. And I’m seriously happy with that. Though I’m deeper into Apple, it’s only because I have more products (sans a watch). But integration, quality, features, representation of the product, user interface, etc … I’m hooked on Garmin. And I love creating watch faces.

A Must-Have Upgrade!

I recently upgraded to the Garmin Venu 3 from the Venu 2 Plus, and I couldn't be happier with my decision! While I initially hesitated to switch because of how satisfied I was with the Venu 2 Plus, the Venu 3 exceeded all my expectations. The software and design feel familiar yet refined, making the transition seamless. Activity tracking is flawless, and the GPS connects almost instantly, perfect for my 2–5-mile runs and cycling. The sleep and body battery features accurately match my energy levels and help me plan my days better. It’s the perfect balance of style, functionality, and reliability. Whether upgrading or getting your first smartwatch, the Venu 3 is an investment I’d recommend to anyone—it truly enhances both fitness tracking and overall health insights.

Absolutely love it

I had the forerunner 265 and wanted something less “sporty” looking. I looked into this one and did research on it and decided to take the plunge. So glad I did. This watch is amazing. Clear, crisp screen, battery life is great, love the look of it, love all the features. It makes my forerunner look like a kids watch. Very happy with my purchase.

Enjoy it more than I thought I would

This is my first smartwatch and I love it. There is a learning curve at first, but once you learn to navigate the screens, it's a breeze. That said, I have yet to enable all of the features as the number of them is still overwhelming. I'm petite and have small wrists and the watch does not feel too large. The French gray is basically taupe, but it's a great versatile color. I have it set to always-on with low brightness and can typically get 4 days out of a battery charge. As a new smartwatch user, the Venu3s has exceeded my expectations.
