I was tired of charging my other watch every night and not recognizing my heart rate during workouts. I have not had issues with battery life or heart rate detection with the Venu 3S. My only complaint after wearing this watch for 2 weeks is the Bluetooth range with my phone. If my phone is in my bedroom and I am in the kitchen with my watch, my watch will not receive notifications.

Replaced my Apple Watch. I’m still familiarizing myself with the system, but so far I like it. It’s got better data for exercises outside so I prefer that to Apple. I haven’t quite figured out how to get a clock face that has the data I need, but it’s close. Great sleep data. Hard to see overall summary unless you’ve got it saved somewhere and I also had to figure out how to change the face to have watch battery. So, to summarize: I prefer the garmin for exercise data and summary. The apple was easier to customize the watch face to give you data you want quick access to.

Bought 2 weeks ago. Previously had a Fenix 5S and Apple Watch. Still learning to use the features as its touch screen vs the Fenix. Would like to see the entire bezel made in the metal colour of bezel and no plastic so we can switch bands and dress it up.

I love my Garmin. My husband bought one and just loved his so much he bought me one. I was a little against it at first because I’ve had an Apple Watch for so long. I’ve been using the Garmin for a few weeks now and I wish I would have switched sooner. So easy to use, more accurate and the design is so much better than Apple. Buy one….its awesome.

Bought this recently and love it. The features are very similar/better than the Apple Watch and the battery life is sooo much better. I only have to charge this once a week, rather than every night for an Apple Watch. It makes it infinitely more usable.

5 stars would have been my review if it weren't for two things. 1. I really wish there are more color options for the s model. Like solid black. 2. My previous fitbit had the talk to txt option with out my phone being near me. With the price point of garmin being so much higher, and the over all technology being so much more advanced, I would think Garmin had more to offer then voice command. Voice command can not hear a single thing I say without my phone being close to me. I cant respond to a incoming txt other than T9 or pre selected one word responses. The pros definitely out weigh the cons for sure or else I would have returned it. Pros are to long to list!! This watch is a awesome device and I love it. Love that I can sync it to my peleton for heart rate. Love that it tells me an in detail chart of my sleep, plus a sleep coach to help me get better sleep. Love that it tells me about my heart and body. In detail! Also the love the accuracy of the step count. With my fitbit I could literally sit in bed and wave my arms and get steps, NOT with garmin! This watch is beyind accurate! Love it, but please GARMIN do an update with actual talk to text please when when I'm at work I can just respond into the watch without having to take my phone out of my scrubs to respond:)

The build quality of the watch itself is nice. I also like the interface of the watch and find the Garmin app easy to understand and use. I usually use Strava to track my activities, and it was easy to link that app with my Garmin watch. Unfortunately, I scratched the watch a lot while rock climbing outside in a "chimney-style" climb, but I've had the watch for over a year and a half since that incident, and it still works perfectly fine. There are only visible, deep scratches, but the watch doesn't glitch or do anything weird.

So far, I’m enjoying my Garmin Venu. I just got it, so hopefully it’ll meet my expectations, but it looks slick and has a great app where the data is uploaded, which makes it very easy to track activity & patterns to identify habits that need to be modified for a healthy lifestyle. Hoping the battery life is decent since that’s the main reason I switched from my Apple watch…

I was hesitant at first. I've always had an Apple Watch. I can honestly say I waited far too long to buy a Garmin. This watch is amazing. Great for beginners. It has a good long lasting battery. I only charge it about once a week. When I go to the gym it recognizes the type of exercise I am doing and fairly accurately keeps track. For example. I did 3 sets of 15 Romanian deadlifts and the watch not only recognized that I was doing deadlifts but it was only inaccurate in counting by 2/3 lifts (which is easy to edit). I have only had my watch a few weeks and although that isn't very long I am very pleased with it and with I had bought one sooner! Highly recommended!

Although I am still earning the features, this is a big step up, particularly when it comes to health and performance features. Plus, i became convinced that my Apple watch was not accurate - and that why I trie the Garmin - Venu 3s perfect size for me. I getting about 5 days on charge though, not the two weeks they talk about in marketing materials, likely as I have number of apps running. Either way, is great battery life. Lightweight. Like it.
