I was looking for a watch that had both solid health and activity features and landed on the Venu 3 as a happy medium. After 2 months of wearing it I feel like I prefer the Venu 3s much more than my previous Vivoactive. It works well on outdoor activities, but can get complicated when using indoor training platforms. You will benefit from buying the HRM Pro Plus if you plan to not wear it during a work out of if you use Zwift. The health and sleep features all seem pretty accurate. I rarely have to adjust the sleep data. The calls and music features work well and the activity options are extensive. The battery life is awesome for the amount of work outs I track on it. The current issue I have with it is more of a sensor and software problem with the new naps feature. It constantly says I'm taking naps during the day while doing focused reading and there is no way to delete them. I contacted Garmin about this issue and they said it is something they are working on. Smaller issue though for the great features you do get.

As someone who was a Fitbit girly for a decade, I was so nervous to make the switch to a Garmin. After a year of research, I opted to get the Venus 3s and after having it for just 4 weeks, I am upset I didn’t switch sooner! The aesthetic of the watch is classy, it has a long last battery, and is far more accurate in its measurements than other smart watch.

I wanted to love this watch. I have a chronic health issue, POTS, and Ive been wearing the Polar H10 chest strap to monitor heart rate and was tired of wearing a strap which is why I decided to get this watch but the heart rate readings were off by 20-40 bpm compared to the chest strap more often than not. Same goes with the SPO2 readings, compared to the finger pulse oximeters, the accuracy is way off. I had to return it.

I’ve been loving my Garmin 3S watch! It fits my small wrist perfectly—sleek and not bulky at all. The minimalist design goes well with almost any outfit, from casual to dressy. Plus, the battery life is amazing—I can go several days without needing to charge it, even with regular use. Super practical and stylish!

Switching from apple watch to garmin is indeed a big change for me. Even until now I don’t know where to go or which buttons to push. Not that it’s hard I was just an apple gal. But this was has been great the battery last for a week if not more. On top of that it is super light you wont feel like wearing a watch. Still on a getting to know stage but so far I love it!

I got my watch about a month or two ago - enough time to get a feel for the watch - and I have to say it was the perfect replacement to my Apple Watch 7! I migrated to Android and the watch worked great with Apple and works flawlessly with my Razr+. The functionality explodes when tied up to an android, to the point that Apple makes the watch feel handicapped. This is likely on Apple and not Garmin, and so it doesn't impact my rating. I use the fitness features somewhat minimally - just trying to stay healthy, not a gym rat or anything - and this watch is perfect for me. If anyone is wondering why I picked the 3S over the 3, it's because I have small wrists and anything bigger than the 3S would look awkward in my bones.

I bought this a month ago and in that time have tried to learn how to set it some of its functions and have had a heck of a time. I think it's designed for techies and not for old seniors like myself. So it was a waste of money to me but I really wanted it to work.

I've had the watch for a couple of months now, works as advertised and has been a really good investment. Mostly got it for the heart rate monitor, but have found I like many of the other functions, and am still discovering more regularly! I went with the smaller version because I have pretty small wrists for a dude, and the 44mm would have looked like a sundial on my wrist.

This is an amazing smartwatch! While in the surface it seems more expensive than some of its competitors, the fact that I don't have to pay a monthly fee for ordinary features that should be free, this is much cheaper long term than others and reviewers should consider that in their reviews (they don't). Sturdy and beautiful it works seamlessly with my Pixel 7 and the fact that it uses standard quick release watch bands makes the options endless! I can change out the look at will! Garmin outdid themselves with this one.

Definitely a change from my last watch! Love it overall! Love the data for sleeping, stress, daily morning report! Cons: having a hard time calibrating to the treadmill. It’s significantly off. I have to refresh frequently for the weather and sometimes won’t get notifications.
