[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been stuck in the 720p TV range for a long long time. After presenting options to my husband, we decided to go with this LG model. Husband ordered a sound bar to go with it (lol). After watching my personal test movie for TV sound quality, Top Gun, he returned the sound bar - unopened. We turned the volume up to the danger zone with no distortion and plenty of rattling windows. The picture quality is superb, even on older movies. When watching a 4K Ultra HD movie, (Planet Earth II) I was completely blown away and felt like I was right next to the camera man. The operating system and WiFi work well, but you get slightly better performance if you hook it up directly to your modem. All in all a great product from LG!

The Smart features are just enough to add functionality that I use (I was devoted to my chromecast before, I now only use it for specific things my tv can't handle). The picture is good with a lot of customizability for different inputs. I wish it had better brightness and color retention from the side angles, but I knew it wouldn't be amazing for a tv of this price.

They told me a tech would have to come to my house to make the repair. I went on line and found many other people have had the same problem. Followed all the advice online and I was able to fix it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the price, this TV has far surpassed my expectations. Great picture, easy to set up, and easy to use the Netflix and Amazon streaming options. It is a great option for a bedroom or home office. I haven't used any UHD input yet, but even with Blu-Ray DVDS and HD cable the picture is outstanding, better than my Sony XBR set, which I always thought had an excellent picture. I will say that to get the best picture you need to disable the energy saving settings. My guess is that the government required them to be put in, but it really ruins the picture quality. Got this at Costco for $299 delivered. How can you go wrong.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] All of our televisions are LG. It was logical to have selected LG again for our family room TV since all previous TVs have served us well for years! Only disappointment on this TV is that it is not Alexa compatible.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has a very good picture, and crisp detail. I use it for online gaming, and the refresh rate is good. It has enough settings control, to get the picture I want. The price was good and was on sale. :)

The picture is fine,but this model was made with a flawed chip. Every year or so the chip that allows you to access the internet stops working. The first time it happened the ajuthorized repairman told me this unit has this defect and it will keep on happening he was right. The problem is LG does not stand behind this product by finding a fix or at least send you this chip without a charge. This being the case when this TV needs to be replaced I will not ever buy a LG TV. I know I can't be the only one

For the most part, I was satisfied with the tv, especially with the price I paid for it. Unfortunately, it only lasted four years. The lightbulb went out. There was sound, but no picture, and I looked into getting it fixed, but I was told I was just better off getting a new one, which I did not want to do. Not only am I not in the position to purchase a new TV, but I really do not want to contribute to the landfill, but it looks like I am stuck doing that.

My only concern is how to connect my direct tv receiver to turn the tv off also. LG is not on the list to connect it to the tv. Thanks, Donna Hassel
