Decent TV for price

This is a decent TV. I only give it 3 stars because the lack of Bluetooth and I personally think LG OS is clunky. I added an external ROKU which I love, but I shouldn't have to do this. For the price (a few years ago) this TV was an okay choice although I doubt I'll by another LG unless they improve their OS.

Amazing tv but a few problems

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The screen and everything is amazing however I noticed that (Maybe its just mine) the screen can be pushed back on the sides, which worries me a lot. Also it is said the I can connect it to google home but that is not working. Has anybody been able to connect it?

Good Picture, Junk USB

I like the picture and the sound is ok, my major complaint is the USB. The tv will only play video if the usb drive is formatted in Fat32 or NTFS. The largest file that can be put on a fat32 device is too small for a 4k video or a good quality HD video but can be used for some low quality videos. NTFS is fine for 4k video but can not be written by a Mac computer without purchasing software to write to it. LG assumes that everyone owns a PC or won't mind purchasing one to use the usb on LG tvs. If you've ever owned a Mac computer it isn't likely you would ever want to own a PC again, I sure don't. It wouldn't be that difficult to make the tv play video written in exfat, so PC and Mac users could use it. A 4k tv that can't be used to play a 4k video is useless. Also, the fast forward at top speed on the usb video playback is pathetic, if you want to get close to the end of the video it's almost just as fast to watch the entire video at regular speed.

That's terrible to know you had to encounter a problem with your 55UK6090PUA. I understand the frustration with the usb only being able to be formatted Fat32 or NTFS. Fed up with this Tv

I bought this TV an year ago in 2018. After using it for 6 months, I faced WIFI network dropping issue and the service centre mechanic literally taped two wires and the problem resolved. And after 11 month, am facing the audio problem. The audio from internal speaker is not working. If i connect, external audio speaker it works but not with the internal speaker and the mechanic says to change the main PCB board of it.

broke in less than 2 years

We rarely use this TV. It has less than 500 hours of use and now doesn't turn on. Called LG warranty and they didn't surprised by it. They told me they could send out a tech for $125 and then charge parts and labor on top of that. What I gathered from the conversation from their rep is, they don't expect these TV's to last more than 1 year and that's why they won't warranty for longer than that. Highly disappointing! Especially because I made the mistake of buying 3 different LG tv's. I WOULD AVOID LG TV'S AT ALL COST!!

Outstanding Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this TV as a gift for my birthday, December 2018. It sits in the "Man Cave" and I can't express how much enjoyment I get from 4K movies and Football Games. It is really something to behold. The only drawback is its access to applications like "DC". It is not available on this OS yet. If more applications become available, this will be a 5 star TV.

Upset!

Great picture but I've had this TV since July 17th and the screen continues to blink in and out. I've been buying LG TVs for as long as I can remember and I've never had this problem. Hopefully the extended warranty I purchased can fix the problem but sadly to say this will be my last LG TV.

We shopped highest quality lowest price and did our homework. Had not purchased a TV in awhile and technology had changed. Once we figured out the technology we wanted it was best picture on display ....which is really the bottom line. The LG had everything we wanted including awesome picture. Everybody had it on “sale” Walmart still beat every price.

Solid tv, lacking basic features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tv a couple months ago, it's my very first smart tv. Love the 4K, the apps, picture quality. What I don't love is that there are no outlets for audio! The only outlet is the fiber optic port! It's very possible idk what I'm doing, but I was gifted a Bose companion 5 system. Yea, it's meant for a computer, but with specific cords/adapters; you can hook it to a tv. So I looked on YouTube, was told to buy an rca-aux cord. Bought it, got home, realized there are only inputs, no outputs. Fine, decided to temporarily hook the system directly to my Uverse receiver. Atleast I can watch football with surround sound. So, I noticed the only outlet is the previously mentioned optical. Ordered the adapter (optical to aux) plug it in...nothing. Again maybe I'm doing it wrong, but either way, why wouldn't lg just include basic ports? Now I'm being told I may have to spring for a whole new home theater receiver. Any suggestions?
