We watched a 42" LG LCD television for many years, and finally decided we wanted to upgrade to a Smart TV. We originally "upgraded" to another brand 50", and within a year, we were regretting buying it. When the 50" LG went on sale, we dumped the troublesome TV for another LG. The picture and sound quality are head and shoulders above what we were getting with the previous 50", without the frequent problems we encountered with the other TV. About the only drawback I've found, is that the stands are a bit more wobbly than the old one, but I'm planning on picking up a wall mount for it anyway. We've found this television to be an exceptional value for the price, and are so far, quite happy with our purchase. We won't be going back to that other brand again, but would have no issue with buying another LG for our future viewing needs.

But I've got mine to just about perfect. The picture is great. I haven't tried my Xbox one X on it yet but I think I may. If so I'll update you on how well it works.

I was looking for component input for my old gaming system and this had it. I went online and found some video settings, then made some adjustments. Wow what a difference in colors and picture quality. My old tv sounded horrible compared to this one. Great sound for just the tv speakers. I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Suddenly it stopped connecting to my internet.. and it won't bring up the wyfi address anymore.. so the SMART TV is not working and I can't watch Netflix / Amazon Prime / You Tube.. the whole reason people want a SMART TV. No tech (over the phone) could fix it.. I went to the internet and several customers have the same problem. A TV should last more than a couple years. I have had several LG TV's and never had a problem. Not sure if I will buy another one.. I really wanted this one fixed but how ?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy how easy it is to with through programs but I am not a fan of the lack of connectivity with Alexa or google preferably google. Also it doesn't like to work very well with any apple products at all to stream or anything unless you actually plug the device via HDMI which unfortunately I am doing, I would love to somehow upgrade to the next model up also wanted a 65in but this was a great deal for the money. If it weren't for the deal I got I would have gotten the next model up with the airplay and google and Alexa built in with the magic remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a beautiful tv at an amazing price point. The picture is first rate. The os on it is very intuitive, easy to use, and good looking (not clunky at all). Setup is very easy and there are apps for just about whatever you need. The picture is crisp and clean with good black levels. All that being said, the first one of these that I had died within 2 months. I had a black bar running vertical near the right side, that went away within an hour. About 2 weeks later the screen turned on but no picture. There was light on but it was a black screen. I tried resetting it to no avail. I have exchanged it for a new one fingers crossed. This would be easy a 5 star review if it weren't for the screen going out after two months. I really like this tv.

Bought about two months ago. Still cannot sync the TV remote to the Spectrum Cable remote no matter how many codes were input. Never had this issue with our Samsang TV. Really annoying to have to have two remotes, one to turn on the TV / volume and one for the channels. Plus no mute........

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for Black Friday, with several gift cards and paid nearly nothing for this tv. Let me start by saying this thing is huge! I've had projector setups upwards of 140” at 1080p, but this thing kills that setup in visual quality. It can suffer from that strange ultra realistic soap opera effect, but easily resolved messing with the settings. The image is crisp and clear, no dead pixels that I can find. I still need to tune the image for black levels, contrast and color, but overall the image was pretty good out of the box. Finding 4K content is still tricky, but it's out there. The audio is nothing to write home about, but tolerable in a small space. If this was going to be a living room tv, or in a large space definitely invest in some audio equipment to match the image and size of this tv. The smart features are pretty nice, and I've had relatively few issues with the WiFi that others have reported My WiFi setup is NOT optimal either. Tv is upstairs and router is downstairs on the floor! It was a bit of a pain that I had to download/update the apps I wanted to use, and the storage space is relatively small. So if you use a lot of the apps you might need to invest in more storage. Regardless it's saving my ps4 from having to be my primary streaming device. The remote is super basic, and very compact with small buttons. It would've been nice to include a backlight or glow in the dark buttons for low light viewing. I will probably replace with a nicer remote. Also it states it can pair with Alexa or google home, but my tv doesn't. Apparently it's a firmware thing, but I cannot find where to update. And remember this is t an OLED, so if you're looking for amazing crisp blacks look elsewhere. It also is technically a 60hz refresh rate, so don't be disappointed if gaming or action scenes aren't the best Overall amazing tv for the price, and great entry level for a 4K tv

It is a one touch operation for all your apps from your phones like YouTube and pandora , Iheartradio etc... just on click and your streaming in no time! The webOS works great on wifi or even better plugged in with the ethernet cable straight from your router. Make sure you take the energy saving mode off for your TV to show it's TRUE colors and come to life. I purchased the skd4 LG soundbar to add with this TV and it really sounds good with alot of bass and no distortion! Buy this TV if you are looking for a great TV for movies, sports , and gaming all in 4k uhd!!!!
