- 2 out of 5 stars review12/28/2018I like the picture and the sound is ok, my major complaint is the USB. The tv will only play video if the usb drive is formatted in Fat32 or NTFS. The largest file that can be put on a fat32 device is too small for a 4k video or a good quality HD video but can be used for some low quality videos. NTFS is fine for 4k video but can not be written by a Mac computer without purchasing software to write to it. LG assumes that everyone owns a PC or won't mind purchasing one to use the usb on LG tvs. If you've ever owned a Mac computer it isn't likely you would ever want to own a PC again, I sure don't. It wouldn't be that difficult to make the tv play video written in exfat, so PC and Mac users could use it. A 4k tv that can't be used to ...

The TV is completely geared for Android and Google, not a fan, and we won't use the feature. I currently have a LG going strong still 10 years later. If not for its quality in longevity, I'd have gone with Vizio, which was my 1st choice. Because of software lacking AirPlay for us Apple people, I can only give 4 stars. Also the screen has a high reflection/glare I don't care for, otherwise all other features (sound, picture, ports, etc) are fantastic.

It was very easy to set up...it only took my husband about 10 minutes to have it in place, connected, and working. The controls are intuitive and easy to use. My husband watches hockey and the picture is awesome (very easy to follow the puck). Great bang for the buck. We would highly recommend this tv.

The TV itself is great, great color, lots of IP channels. But after finding out that they are only having Apple TV on 2019 to latest models then that what disappointed me. I doubt that my TV would ever get good software updates since they only support TVs after a year. They don't even have a facebook app. Other brands of TV supports Apple TV up to models as early as 2017.
