It's a good choice whether you're viewing it in dark or bright rooms, and gamers should be happy with it too. It's very well-built and should look nice in any setting. It displays a wide color gamut thanks to its quantum dot technology, and it gets bright enough to make highlights stand out in HDR how the creator intended. It also has excellent out-of-the-box color accuracy, so you may not need to get it calibrated to enjoy it to the fullest, but this may vary between units. Its VA panel has a great native contrast ratio and very good black uniformity that are each further enhanced by the decent full-array local dimming feature. The 55 inch and larger models also have fairly wide viewing angles thanks to the 'Ultra Viewing Angle' technology, but the 49 and 50 inch models don't have it and are expected to have better contrast.

The remote controls are sparse and the manual isn't too helpful though and although it is great that it is charged via solar cell, you have no idea is it is fully charged....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a 39" TV that died, so I needed something to replace it. Luckily this 43" tv fit in the same space as the old one. This TV is the main workhorse in our house, getting used mostly for watching tv by our kids during the day and then some watching tv after the kids are in bed. It has been super great so far. Clear picture, easy to switch inputs, etc. The built-in speakers are nowhere near as good as our last TV though. I'm going to remedy that with a sound bar soon.

Also the remote control can be charged with a charger so you'll never need to purchase batteries, such a great deal! I love my Tv and and enjoying watching all of my favorite shows, I have so many different apps and options to choose from which makes it great for everyone of all ages watching Tv!!!

I previously had cable, so I wasn't prepared for all the features and how to use them. But now I'm getting used to it and it seems to be working just fine. The only complaint I have is the sound which is terrible! So I had to purchase a sound bar to go with it. Sound bar is not great, but better than without. Otherwise no problem.

Great quality. Going from led/lcd to qled is a world of different. Also, it depends what you have hooked to it or streaming as well. To see it's full potential, Netflix or other ultra 4k streams really show its potential. Overall happy with it though. Even just hmdi hooked up cable through a box is better than the led/lcd I had before. Vibrant colors and crisp sharpness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I found the filmmaker mode I finally liked what I saw. The only issue is the low audio quality. What I mean is that my Samsung smartphone is a better source for music streaming than the TV. Still overall a very good TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our TV strictly for movies, tv-series & oldies entertainment. 75" is a perfect size for viewing but the quality of the picture is a FAR cry from that of display in the store. It seems that a newer broadcast or later released movie will show fine but not great & take an older rerun tv-series and it just extenuates the graining making viewing very disappointing. Happier with the new size only and think my older nine-year-old tv had a better picture consistently..

All my life I had gotten cheap LED tvs thinking that even if i did spend the money for a nicer picture i wouldn't notice (boy was i wrong) Being able to see in dark environments in movies and the clarity of the picture is picture perfect. All in all I have used samsung products all my life and will continue using them because of the quality!
