Hey guys, please take our reviews seriously. I've been eating these patties since 2014, and highly recommend them to people regularly because they were DELICIOUS and PERFECT. Just recently, 2021, I've gotten a bag and it was HORRIBLE. The new recipe SUCKS. Why did you change a good thing? PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK or else myself along with plenty of others will not be purchasing or eating your breakfast patties again.

I have been buying this product for over 10 years. I am highly disappointed the past few months. The flavor has changed dramatically. There is a spicier (fennel??) flavor that I cannot get past. It taste so HORRIBLE now. It even smells different. The texture started changing last year and I figured it was because of something covid related with getting the products the same or something due to demand and product line shortages. I could have forgiven the texture change, but the flavor - I have thrown away over 5 bags in the past few months and I have decided that I will never buy this product again. This upsets me greatly as I eat them every single day for breakfast and now have to figure out a new item to eat.

My family eats some meat, but we try to cut back where we can. We have been eating the veggie sausage patties for 15+ years. We go through about 20-30 patties a week. But for the last year or so since the recipe was changed, we all find them so unappealing. We were able to get the old recipe by buying bulk boxes of about 100 patties, but haven't been able to find those recently so had to revert to new recipe packages. They have a mushy texture with a fake smoke taste and are generally unappealing. Please bring back the original recipe made with egg whites!!! It was far superior to the new recipe.

I have consistently bought these sausages for many years and loved the flavor, consistency, etc. But the recent update to the recipe makes the sausages mooshy and changed the flavor. Even when I fry up the outsides so they are nice and crispy, the inside has an unappetizing paste-like consistency that is really gross. I will not be buying these anymore which is really disappointing as they have been a savory breakfast staple.

These were amazing for decades but Morningstar inexplicably changed the recipe, and they no longer taste anywhere near as good as they used to. The reviews here reflect that almost no one prefers the new recipe to the old. When will the recipe revert back?

I have been a vegetarian for almost 40 years and MS breakfast patties have been my daily breakfast for as long as I can remember. I noticed that the past couple of bags did not taste right (bad!) and now have read that you changed the recipe. Have you heard of market research, Kellogg's? I am so sad about this change as the product was perfect and now is disgusting.You have lost a very loyal customer with this change. Please listen to your customer base and consider bringing back the original recipe as an option for all of us loyal customers who eat these daily. Coke did it!

I have been eating these for as long as I can remember. I'm not even vegetarian, but I've always been obsessed with breakfast patties. Imagine my horror when I opened my newest bag, heated them up, and experienced the mushy, yucky mess. My husband is vegan so I respect what you're trying to do, but please label these as a new product and bring back the old recipe. I'm so sad!

1st they changes the original griller recipe and I no longer buy and now they changed my favorite sausage recipe. These are awful! They are mushy insjde and have a different flavor. Im sooo disappointed and will no longer buy these. Everyone is not vegan. Some people are vegetarian and meat eaters. Its like only vegans are catered to now. They are going to lose profit with these changes!

Hmm instead of listening to honest reviews by old faithful customers, the decision was to artificially raise the review rating? What good will that do? Your previous consistent customer base is not going to be suddenly convinced these really do taste good because the paid reviewers say so. New customers may be fooled… once. Why not offer both products and solve this problem for all?

My daughter and I use to love the sausage patties. I am vegetarian and she isn't. But we agreed they were delicious. Until they were changed. I could not eat them at all. She did finish the bag and I have no idea how?! We just got a bag because it said original sausage patties on them. Again they are an edible. We will not be buying them again any time soon. I think our faith and trust is broken for now. They are not edible. Someone has made a change that is absolutely disgusting. You all need to go back to the old formula. Because this new one. It's just gross. I got a bag I will be throwing away. And I will not be buying them again anytime soon. And I can guarantee you I not the only one that feels this way…
