It was very tasty my family also enjoyed it and we would definitely try this again in the future and I recommend anybody giving you the try.

It didn't break apart while cooking either. The sausage patties taste just like meat sausage patties and the texture is very similar to meat products. I added hot sauce on mine and it was perfect. I recommend the original. Was not a big fan of the maple flavor.

Even my meat loving hubby and kiddo raved about how good these were! Well, clearly others do not like them, but my family and I love them. I also appreciate that they are vegan, as we are and there aren't lots of options. I am sorry for those who dislike, but I encourage people to try them with an open mind. I have eaten these for 40 years and the new version doesn't seem that different to me.

I like that the packaging gave me three options to cook the sausage (stovetop, oven, and microwave) and told me the brand's preferred way to cook it. I cooked it using the stovetop, which was recommended. I liked the flavor of the sausage, but I felt that it needed even more flavor. I don't eat pork, and I haven't for years. However, if I'm eating plant-based sausage or when I was eating pork, I'm expecting a lot of flavor. This just didn't cut it for me. I wanted more. I feel that the flavor was on the right track, but didn't quite give me what I'm looking for in a sausage patty. When I opened the bag, I didn't even notice any smell. So I put my nose closer and I still smelled nothing. I was already a little afraid that this meant it would taste a little bland. I think the texture was pretty close to a pork sausage patty. It was a little crumbly, which didn't bother me. However, I could see this being an issue for others. I think this sausage did enhance my morning breakfast. I would normally eat just a fried egg and toast, but I got to add a piece of sausage to this. I was fuller than normal after eating more and felt satisfied that I wasn't adding on anything with a huge calorie amount. I always feel good about eating plant-based foods. I enjoy knowing that I am saving the animals with my food choices. This food was easy to find at my local retailer. I knew right where to go to find the MorningStar Farms products with the other plant-based frozen items. I just had to ensure I was buying the right item to review, and it only took a few seconds. Overall, I do like this product. I think one bag will last me for a while, which makes it a pretty good deal in my opinion. I just wish there was more flavor.

They were not burnt. Overall not bad, especially if you do not eat meat. I would say it's a good alternative.

I gave them the plant based sausage and they couldn't tell the difference. It was a win win they got to eat yummy food and I got to sneak in something that's better for them to eat without them knowing.
