[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've loved these for years. They are a little small, so usually I'll eat 2 with some egg whites and yogurt for breakfast. The consistency is great if you just microwave them 30 seconds, flip, and then microwave for about 40 seconds. These are my second favorite morningstar product after the Buffalo wings. Yum!

Like many other reviews here, our family has enjoyed the Morning Star veggie sausages for years. We are not a vegan or vegetarian household, but we do reduce meat consumption where possible - and where there exists a delicious alternative! When I first tasted the new recipe, I thought this batch must be contaminated! Sad to learn about the vegan recipe. Yuck. Will not buy again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit that, based on past experiences with plant-based foods, I didn't have high expectations for Morningstar Veggie Sausage. This product proved me wrong. I am a HUGE texture person when it comes to food, and what really impressed me was the "natural" texture of the sausage. The spices were great, too. I included my carnivore husband for the second testing of this product - without him knowing, of course. I served him three sausages, along with eggs, toast, and hash browns. He ate it all, gave me a kiss, and thanked me for a wonderful breakfast. Mission accomplished! I will definitely buy more Morning Star Veggie Sausage; however, I probably won't let my husband in on the secret. =)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Morning Star Farms Veggie Original Sausage Patties are a nice addition to my weekend breakfast rotation. The original flavor was quiet spicy and when baked had a nice dark color to them. They look like regular sausage except for the grease! The flavor was spicy but enjoyable. 6 to a package was a nice number of patties.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family is “hybrid” meaning we enjoy meat as well as plant based entrees and will choose plant based burgers or meat substitutes occasionally to limit our intake of red meats. We were excited to try the MorningStar Farms Veggie sausage patties and chose the spicy variation. The packing was nice, but I felt the bag was a bit large for the amount of product inside. My first impression upon opening the bag was that the sausages were a good size. I did enjoy how quickly they heated up and didn't require a lot of oil or preparation. Also enjoyed that they are pre formed patties and save you the mess of preparing your own patties. My first bite I was satisfied with the texture and felt it could pass a picky eaters taste test. They weren't dry and crumbly like other brands we have tried. One thing I do wish was that they were a little more spicy. It worked out though, because even our kids got to try them and they approved!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the spicy patties for breakfast and it was tasty. I enjoyed eating these with my potatoes and eggs along with avocado and salsa. I thought I liked the maple but now after trying the spicy, I liked this one better. It's another way to get more veggies into your meal but not quite feeling bad that your eating meat. I really like it.

I'm glad I had the opportunity to try them out. The texture is different from normal sausage breakfast patties. And the flavor wasn't really good. It was okay. Anything you eat with these patties will hopefully make these patties taste better.
