I have loved Eggo waffles since I was kid, but the new recipe is a major downgrade. The waffles lack flavor and color, while also having a fake sugary taste. In addition, they do not freeze as well. This effects the way they toast, making them soggy in some parts and very hard in other areas. Eggo, please go back to your original recipe!

They also didn’t respond to my service request about it. I ended up going out of my way to purchase this for nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 year old loves these waffles and has eaten them every morning! It’s usually such a struggle to get him to eat in the morning, and get it done in time before school but he loves these and eats the whole waffle with no complaints!

The newer recipe is sweeter and the texture is different. I have changed over to the minis on most occasions because they still taste like the originals. When ever I eat the homestyle ones I have to lather it in syrup when I use to be able to pop them in the toaster and eat them as they came out. Please don't change the minis because then you will lose a customer. :(

Eggo waffles are tasty and some of our favorites. They can be easily made in the toaster and turn out nice and fluffy each time. Definitely recommend these if you are looking for a convenient breakfast that tastes good.

I can’t even remember how long I have been eating Eggo Waffles. 25 or 30 years. I am getting to the point of being so disappointed in them. They have gone from a nice thick waffle to a waffle so thin that they may as well call it a pancake - except it’s even thinner than a pancake and the circumference has gotten smaller.You can see through it. They don’t even toast the same as they used to. I imagine the thick and fluffy ones are the size that the regular ones used to be. I’m so disappointed that I’m going to have to switch to another brand or start making my own.

I love my morning eggos but the last few boxes have been awful...holes, dense, thin in the middle...go hard in center and outer edges no matter how long I toast... hoping its a few bad batches and not something else... otherwise I guess I will switch to no name as they are similar ( to this new crap) but way cheaper:(

I’ve been eating Eggos for years but hadn’t had recently. With the recent events we stocked our freezer and decided to get Eggos. What a welcome return to an old favorite. Don’t remember why we stopped buying but I’m not going to let that happen again. Welcome back to my house Eggos!!

I buy Eggos occasionally such as once or twice a month. It is a change from having toast or making French toast. Last week there were no Eggos in the store freezer but towards the end of the week it was all stocked. I felt very appreciative as I selected the Homestyle flavor because it seems comforting at this time

I've been buying Homestyle waffles for the last 2 yrs. Bc it's the only food my autistic Granddaughter would eat!! And these last few boxes!! Taste so Nasty They don't brown well. They taste like chalk What ingredient did you take out!! Please put it back so my Grandbaby can eat. She has sensory issues so it's very rare to get her to eat . I'm very disappointed!! We literally lived off of waffles.. have no idea what we're going to do now.. thanks a lot!! A disgruntled family
