I noticed new Haagen Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream packaging in the store and immediately wondered if that also meant a new product inside. It certainly does mean a new, lesser quality product! The flavor and texture have changed. Bring back the old, rich creamy ice cream I loved. You have lost a devoted customer of 20 plus years!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unlike most of the store brand Vanilla Ice Creams I've purchased, Haagen Daas Vanilla Ice Cream has a great texture, the recipe uses the perfect amount of vanilla -and this brand is easy to scoop the ice cream to make your ice cream cone! Hands down, the best vanilla ice cream in the world, with no artificial flavors or colors, and I think about that when I enjoy a pint after dinner or on a summer day with my littles. I have to be careful not to eat the whole thing at once, as it is around 1000 calories per container.

It has a better tasting flavor as this brand uses real vanilla beans and you can see the specs in the I cream to prove it. I paired my ice cream with peach cobbler. What an excellent combination. The texture of this brand is creamy too. Overall, I'm very impressed with the flavor and strongly recommend this brand of vanilla even if you are not a fan of vanilla,

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband LOVES vanilla ice cream especially on warm apple pie and he thinks the Haagen-Dazs vanilla is one of the best he has ever tried! We usually buy a competitors brand but we will definitely switch.

I recently purchased two pints of Haagen Dazs ice cream; vanilla and chocolate peanut butter. It had been a few years since I had it and wanted to indulge with the ice cream of my youth. I was so disappointed with both pints (to the point that I let the chocolate peanut butter melt down the sink). The vanilla is no longer rich and creamy. It tastes like ice milk or inexpensive store brand ice cream, though it is still sold at a “premium” price. The current versions are no where near what they used to be. I will never buy Haagen Dazs again.

Haagen Dazs vanilla has been my go to ice cream for years. It was the ice cream to compare all others to. I can eat the ice cream plain or with toppings. The distinctive vanilla taste is comparable to none. It has the perfect combination of texture and sweetness.I love this ice cream.
