I was surprised to see just how much the vanilla ice cream has changed- and not for the better. This was the top of the line vanilla available in super markets but it has gotten lost within the shuffle of all the mid-range frozen sugar milk that fills grocery store freezers. While I still dislike their main competitor's vanilla, Turkey Hill's vanilla bean has now taken the top spot. Please bring back your original recipe.

I picked up a pint from my store and kept it in my freezer for a few weeks until I was ready to open it. I took the pint out of the freezer and immediately opened it to the strangest thing: the entire pint was completely liquid except for a weird crusty foam on top. It was cold soup, not ice cream. I felt like my ice cream was gaslighting me because I've never taken ice cream out of a freezer where it has been stored only to find that it is melted. Seriously. I feel like no one will even believe me because it's such a bizarre circumstance. I threw the pint out because I wasn't even sure if it was safe, but if it wasn't going to be in a ice cream form anyways...I don't know how I would have eaten it. Ice cream soup, what is the world coming to? Batch number on the pint was 0294580431.

It is creamy and natural and delivers consistently on quality and taste. If there were only one ice cream I could ever have again, it would be Haagen Dazs..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Haagen-dazs Vanilla Ice Cream today. It has a great creamy texture just like a good ice cream should be. I wish the vanilla flavor was bit stronger and I was disappointed that the containers were only 14 ounces instead of a full 16 ounce pint. I would definitely eat it again, however, at the price point it is it wouldn't be that often.

The amount is great to share or just have a bad day and eat it all. Super easy to find and they have been making ice cream for years so it's a brand I can trust.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this ice cream is organic! It's not gummy, it is pretty tasteful! It didn't leave me feeling sick after a couple spoonful's and it doesn't have the texture/consistency of a lite ice cream. This is my favorite ice cream!
