I purchased this a dw months ago for my parents and the install took 2 days (1 day to stain and 1 day about 4 hrs to set up). It is of good quality (not great) for the previous price of 799 so we decided to purchase one for ourselves as soon as we closed on our house; however, we noticed that the price increased 60%! Yes, it jumped that much in 2 months; that is ridiculous! At this price the pergola is not worth it. The wood is supposedly finished but it is not, if you want it to last a couple of years. You definitely need a sealer or stain with sealer. The wood is light-weight cedar imported from China. After this ridiculous price increase I inquired with a local carpenter and for 200-300 more you can get a solid wood one made. My parents are enjoying their pergola but it's not worth it with the new outrageous price increase. Saddened that Sam's would sell the same product to its members at a 60% increase.

This was a perfect addition to our backyard. It took three guys to set it up over the course of about 6 hours. Instructions were easy to understand. We added Sunbrella fabric for more shade as well as privacy shades. We connected the electrical components so we can hook up lights and plug in our smoker to it. We are more than pleased with the pergola and would highly recommend it.

The pergola was easy to assemble, just follow the instructions. All hardware was included, and in individual bags for step by step assembly. You definitely need two people , I would recommend three for an extra set of arms.

I bought this 10 months ago and went to use the power today and there was none. Has anyone experienced that problem? Love the rest but not sure why issue with power after 10 months
