Amazing! Very pleased with this purchase. I have friends that have blackstones with hoods, and are considering switching because of how much sturdier this hood is when it is in the up position. The only thing I would like to see them do, is come out with a custom made cover for it.

I'll be honest, when I put in a pickup order for this item, I thought I had ordered a grill. We wondered why the box was so darn heavy! My husband gave me the unhappy news after he unpacked it. Our grill had just died and we had folks coming over the next day, and it was already 8PM. So we decided to give it a go and spent the evening assembling the griddle. Lots of moving parts, but not hard. We definitely needed both of us to set the griddle plate in place, its huge. I read the reviews, and went to bed feeling a little better about the mistake. I went through the seasoning process the next morning and we fired it up for hamburgers for our afternoon guests. We really have never had as many compliments on burgers as we had that day. True, no flare ups and charcoal flavor, but they were the most juicy burgers ever and cooked to perfection. I cant wait to try some steaks and a big breakfast spread at some point. You can feed an army with this thing. This griddle was a happy accident for us and we recommend it highly.

My wife got me this for Father's Day and WOW! Where to start. This flattop is amazing. The 5 burner set up gives the user great control and the ability to cook in stages. As food is ready move it over to a part if the cooking surface that keeps it warm while you continue to cook the rest of the meal. The closing lid just adds to the great features found in this unit. The additional prep space on both sides is great. They drop down out of the way when not needed. This allows you to buy a smaller cover for those who want to keep it covered when not in use. As an added bonus, the drawers store all the tools and supplies needed to cook all your favorite dishes. Assembly is quick and easy. Took me about 1 hour. This is my new favorite toy in our outdoor kitchen.

Great experience so far with some learning curve. I traveled 3 hours from my location to pick up from the nearest club. Suggestion: the cover should be redesigned to extend to the back fully, similar to Blackstone griddle. Dust enters through the back. The product is too good for the back not to be covered.

Nice grill, solid and it was easy to put together on my own. The only draw back i see is the ignitors on all the burners do not light the grill. I need to use a lighter to use it. I will have to look deeper into but other then that it grills great!

I would like to give this griddle 5 stars, but there is one problem with it. The flexible hose on the gas regulator is too short. I had to purchase a regulator with a hose 20 inches long. Now works great. Love the griddle otherwise. Would buy again

So far so good. Received it yesterday and spent about 1.5 hours assembling it. I seasoned it as per the instructions and then put it away. Today we tried it out and made some burgers. Now we have been using a gas grill for years and made burgers many time and they always tasted good, however tonight my daughter said todays burgers were the best I have made! My wife loved the searing on the burgers and noted she did not taste the grill flavor that we get from the gas grill. The one downside I see already is the igniter for the burners doesn't work very well. I had to turn off and on several times before the burners fired up. A push button igniter would be much more practical than how these are incorporated into the dials.

the electronic ignitors are junk, had to use a lighter to light burners right out of the box. the rest of the the griddle is great.

The griddle is very good. The problem I had is you have to put it almost 100% together yourself. Also, if you set it on a little bit of an uneven surface, the draws and the door hit each other. As far as cooking on it, best thing I ever did buying it. MAKE SURE THERE ARE TWO PEOPLE TO PUT IT TOGETHER! THE TOP IS VERY HEAVY.
