There is a built in air-gap, but the previous guy that came told me I needed to install one, which I don’t think I do. I need an LG professional to come and fix it. It’s a brand new unit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dishwasher. I just wish it had a dry cycle that actually dries dishes. I’m disappointed that after trying all of available drying cycles none of them actually dry the dishes and plastic items are full of water in rims, bottom inside and bottom outside. They must be hand dried. Everything must be hand dried. LG typically is a top of the lube product but the smart model is stupid! It’s not smart enough after taking 3 hours and 4 minutes to dry my diashes. I’m very disappointed for the first time in my LG purchase. I suggest buying a different brand if You want a dishwasher that washes and dries Your dishes.

I had two other brand of dishwashers and both had tore up and impossible to find help to try to troubleshoot or to get customer service to help with a repair. So we went with an LG this time. I have fallen in love with my dishwasher. It works so good. Especially for the price. It wasn’t that expensive compared to the brand name. I can’t rave about it enough. I accidentally put to much dishwasher cleaner in it and made and error code pop up and I got help with that easily and then if the troubleshooting didn’t work they would send out a repair person. I was so grateful. It righted itself after the steps I was told to take. It has 3 wracks and multiple settings which is an upgrade from my old one. I’m very happy with it. It’s fast, quite, and gets everything clean the first run.

This is my first ever brand new dishwasher. I was very upset when we first got it because it didn’t seem the dishes dried. After getting help from LG support we realized we needed the rinse aid. I still was like there is now way this is going to dry the dishes just from adding rinse aid. Well it did! It worked beautifully. So pleased with my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG dishwasher was installed a month ago. It's took a little getting use to, because is so quiet. The top utensil tray is very convenient, the ability to adjust the second rack height is helpful when using taller items. The inside and outside is stainless steel, very nice to look at. The proformace out dues our old dishwasher. We are very happy with the LG dishwasher. I recommend the LG dishwasher.

We love everything about our new LG dishwasher EXCEPT in this day and age, one would thing the engineers of this produce would have made better provisions for stemmed wine glasses. We are daily consumers of wine and it is a pain to have to wash them by hand.

In late August, 2022, our new Frigidaire conked out. It couldn't be fixed because they didn't make a certain circuit board anymore. A couple of weeks later, we bought an LG dryer because we have an LG washer and dryer and have really liked it. Our LG dishwasher was installed on October 1st. On its second wash on the following Thursday, the LG washer started making a loud high pitched squealing noise. My wife smelled smoke. After contacting LG, I asked for a replacement because I suspected compound damage. Cascade damage. Eventually, they gave me a refund. They never had the dishwasher inspected to see if what I said was true. So I had a broken brand new washer. I called a washer repairman in town. "We don't work on LG products." No reason given.

Here I am thinking something is wrong with it cause there's always water on the walls and floor of the dishwasher and smells like mildew. I called it in and was informed by the technician that it does not have a heater just a fan.DO NOT BUY will waste your money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had the our dishwasher for about 6 months before it just....stopped working. Wouldn't run, wouldn't turn on, nothing. Fortunately, we're still under warranty, but I've been hand-washing dishes for about a month waiting for the repair man...and then the back-ordered parts...and the repair man to come back....you get the idea. When it was functional, it was a good, fairly quiet unit that seemed to get things clean without having to pre-wash in the sink.
